I've used IBTanked pyrex cartotanks for nearly two years; dependable and consistant with nice flavor production. Recently using a kayfun Lite Plus rebuildable atomizer; cartotank on steroids.

So I am ordering my provari tomorrow and wanted to hear what your guys favorite setups are. I will most likely just be purchasing the aspire nautilus with it as this is my first mod. Also I am having trouble picking out a color and I'd love to hear your two cents and some pictures as well!

So you started this thread 3 days ago. Which is 1 days past when you said you were going to buy a Provari. Which one did you buy?

No matter what color or size or what battery it takes, extended battery cap or not, they are all the same and will work the same.

I see a lot of replies are listing the Provari models the posters own. That is all well and good but that doesn't mean you have to buy any or all of them.
I am very happy with my stock satin silver unit. I have no plans on buying another anytime in the near or distant future. Why? Because the one I have does everything I need it to do. I don't vape over 10 watts usually (and if I do it is never over 12 watts and only for a short period of time), I don't run coils lower than 1.4 ohms and I could care less how it looks. I'm not into Mod Fashion statements.

Best of luck to you with the Provari.

I have the Satin Silver, and as others have said, there were three main reasons:
#1 - It was a blem on sale (I have never found the blem even using a jeweler's magnifying glass)
#2 - It has no color coating so I don't have to worry about it getting scratched off
#3 - It is not an accessory to match my outfit, it is a device that I use to obtain a better, more satisfying vape!!!

YMMV

I hope that you enjoy your ProVari as much as I have enjoyed mine!

ETA: Putting a Russian on it was the second best thing I have done, with the first being the purchase of the ProVari

Not trying to hi jack this thread, but I am interested in the Provari as a next step up from the Halo Triton System. Do you guys/gals think this is a good way to go? The starter kits seem to have everything you need covered and the upgrade to a Nautilus tank if you want. I am looking specifically at the Mini kit in the satin and the upgraded tank. I am pretty much a newby with a lot to learn, but this to me looks like a quality kit yet simple enough to use. What accessories, if any, do you think I should add in the initial order, am guessing replacement heads at least. Is the warranty a good idea? Thanks for any input.

To Tracy. If the cost of a Provari kit is within your budget, then by all means go for it. There are literally hundreds of happy Provari owners on this board alone. Most of them will tell you that they wished that they had spent the extra bucks on one sooner than later, after wasting money on cheaper mods which broke or stopped working and couldn't be fixed by the manufacturer in China.

The Provari comes with a 1 year warranty by default. If you wish to purchase a second year, that is up to you. However, if you do your research, Provari's rarely break or disfunction. So you may wish to spend that money on a better charger or a couple more batteries. Repair costs post-warranty are extremely reasonable, and are available for life.

Why Provari?

Yes Tracy!! I went from G6 to Tritons to Triton VVs to ProVari and VERY happy with all the choices I made. I also got the Satin Mini and AW IMR 18490 batts (but I bought them from RTD Vapor cuz I needed a charger too..I should have just got them from ProVape but don't think they had AW IMR then) and it was a very easy step up from the Tritons.

The hardest part for me was finding the perfect topper because I prefer top coil like the Tritons. I like a warmer vape and tighter draw. I still use my Triton VVs a lot because I like to switch up flavors constantly. You will be VERY happy with the ProVari!!!

I completely understand what you mean. Performance over looks. I ended up going with the gunmetal grey mini w/ red LED and I also ordered a nautilus mini!

Originally, I was going to go with the kit as well. However I built my own kit if that makes sense by choosing your provari of choice a long with a charger and batteries. The price was a lot better and I ordered a nautilus mini separately. I was very happy with the 260$ I ended up with as opposed to 290

If you have juice that falls into the 510 connection of the mini, does it leak into the unit? I have the 510 adapter for the aspire BDC tank and usually there's small drops that trickle down through that pin that goes down into the 510 connection of the mini. Maybe condensation? I'm concerned. Is the Mini leak proof on top?
