murf43143, no small business can be expected to tell you exactly when product will ship. There are a lot of variables involved, from how many of the parts ordered are in perfect working order to wether or not someone gets sick and can't work that day. Most of these businesses work to get ahead of the demand (it appears that provape is working hard to get there) at which point they are generally able to be more accurate in their estimates.

I'm just happy to see them working so hard to catch up to demand.

I have been trying to figure out the order and shipping dates according to the forum post, but I can't tell if there is still a 4-weak waiting list to get the ProVari shipped out.

I am looking to get the best e-cig right now and money isn't an option, but I want it asap.

I have a sign in my office - it's an old classic.

You can have it:
1 - Fast
2 - Cheap
3 - Good
Pick any two.

You're talking about a niche market item - something that doesn't get produced in 10,000 item lots. That means the production order takes a back seat at the machining shop, until they can work in a small order. And it means that the cost for each part is higher, because they're not getting mass quantity discounts. In order to keep the price per unit out of the stratosphere, labor costs have to be strictly controlled, so they don't have a team of people sitting around waiting for the next lot to come in from the machining shop so they can assemble them.

You're absolutely right - it could be done much faster. Would you be willing to pay the extra that would cost? I figure it wouldn't add more than about $2,000 to the price of each unit.

The thing is, I don't the the end users should have to keep track of order numbers and be wondering the whole time. This is 2011 and any decent website or provider should give this information first and foremost before people order, don't you think?

If we post the info ourselves then we have a better chance of receiving them sooner.
Most of the time when I order a product the seller doesn't send me an email stating that the merchandise is in transit.
I'm guessing that they would cater to your personalized needs if you offered to pay for the extra service.

the recommended batteries with a wall charger, and the normals like your atomizers and liquid of choice.
The ProVari accepts these batteries..
18650 AW high drain battery and a 18490 AW high drain battery.
If you decide to use a 18650 battery, you will also need to purchase the extender cap for the battery to fit, but this option will also give you more hours of operation time.
The batteries, charger and extension cap are also on the ProVape site.

hope this helps,
MonsterKenny
