I like my SVD, but my ProVari provides a better vape.

And when I DO use my SVD, which I still do so it won't feel bad, I tend to leave it in VV now, because I just kinda know about what voltage I like for different juice and different toppers. It's no big deal - I pretty much do the same as always - pick a reasonable starting point (volts or watts) and then adjust up or down a little to taste.

The power from a Provari is more instantaneous, and smoother. I don't know how else to describe it, but it's got to be the chip that controls it - cycling at a substantially faster speed...

No mod wars, no bs lol...just curious what sets the provari apart, why is it so popular etc. I love my svd, I also love new things so im curious about this thing. What sets it apart from say my vv and vw svd?

My biggest concern.is the lack.of.watts

Totally NOT needed.

I have a variable wattage device with my Provari, its called my finger. I use it to put 20-30 cartos at the same resistance in my shopping cart and then hit the checkout button. Problem solved.

Variable Wattage is useful if you have a lot of different juice delivery devices sitting around but if you have a favorite setup like my prepunched cartos and a Phiniac tank it goes unused.

Part of vaping is figuring out which system works best for you. IMO those using a Protank for this juice, a carto tank for that juice, and rba for the next one etc etc are making things overly complicated.

A Provari appeals to those of us with a Keep It Simple Stupid mindset and it works flawlessly every time. In my case for well over a year now without having failed me once.

I dont use Watts, although I have a couple of 300.00 plus Mods that will do VW.....and use to own two SVD's (which are still in use today by family members...both right at a year old)....... so I do think the SVD is a great mod. My favorite for the price.

I learned with the SVD that in VW mode, your battery gets used up quicker because its always "self adjusting itself", so I quit using it along time ago.

So, if your using Volts or Watts....who cares. Its the Same power that you "settle into" in the end.

Back to your question...Provari..Why ? Everyone has really answered this for you, and yes, the taste is better due to the chipset, etc, etc.
Ive only found one mod that will compare, and it has to be used in Hybrid Mode and only with a Kayfun original 3.1. This set up will run your about 475.00 and wont go into that in this thread.

I love my "other mod" that I use and use it most of the time, but will say this. If I was given a choice of only one mod.....to choose to have cause im gonna be stranded on a desert island (with a charger, lol) and all that jazz.. (you know the old storey) I would choose the Provari over anything out there without blinking my eye. In a heart beat. Period.

Do you need to buy one ? Of course not
Will you regret it? Not one bit........and I wont sell you mine.

I'm gonna grab some popcorn. This should be good.

I like my Provari cause it's dependable and I don't have to screw with wattage. I hated that. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. And it's easy to use. I don't want something that I have to constantly change or mess with. I love the one button concept.

It works, then it works some more, and then keeps working.

It seems to taste better, it has the features I want and none that I don't want.

If it is very stable on a desk with a heavy tank.

I can break furniture with it and not leave a scratch on it.

In fact, John just broke his whole dining room table apart with his Provari and it still works. ;).

They were good, you missed it, all the hot air has blown over. If you notice, the older provari defenders don't even come in these foolish threads anymore.

They must have finally realized they were feeding in too much, therefore never fully eradicating the arguments.

When I got my Provari it blew my poor old Vamo 3 away! Now my MVP 2 does come close. I wonder if the VTR does just as well? That would be the only other mod I would be interested in once I see that the threads are holding up for people. My Vamo stripped way to easy and the quality of the threads was the main reason I went ahead and got the Provari.

Well, just to see what the hoopla is, I started setting just the watts on some of the PV in my rotation (VTR, Sigelei ZMax, iTaste 134, MVP2). And... I had to mess with the wattage ALL FREAKING DAY LONG! If I didn't, my juice ended up burnt at least part of the day (with consistant wattage mind you. I never had this much hassle with VV, and I'm right back to setting the VV.

WHAT THE HECK DOES ANYONE WANT VW FOR? How stinking aggravating.
