They shouldn't have with USPS after May 16th, although I believe all the couriers are still fine with shipping them. Not sure about provape, but most vendors will allow you to use UPS, Fedex, Purolator, DHL, etc, instead of USPS.

DMM Revision: Mailings of Lithium Batteries

Edit: Ugh, really ? - "We ship all orders by USPS." They have to look up setting up an account with a courier.

It may be because I ordered mine with the Provari and not separately, but everything was in customs for a whoppin' 2 days (sorry Projectguy...) and used the expedited or express or w/e they call it shipping, USPS no courier.

Ach well, not sure what happened, just know that mine arrived safe n sound.

Personally I loathe couriers, never had them come to the door and their pickup locations tend to be very out of the way.

JRCustomturnings has AW IMR's for a good price. Also wick and coil material. I got that stuff plus a real nice Xtar six battery charger from Switcher there. Great customer service too. He had ran out of one type of kanthal that I asked for so he gave me some of his personal stock plus some extra mesh. He's in Halifax area I believe but the shipping didn't take long.

Alright, thanks everyone, now I just need to decide between the ProVari, Darwin, or a Kicked Silver Bullet.

Although it appears the Darwin is almost impossible to get.

Don't forget the ZMax :) There have been a number of co-op's for them.

Personally, I have a kicked SB, and I'm less than happy with it :(

If you order through Provape - get the Provari and extension cap (if you want that and I do actually recommend it) and get the batteries "locally". Pick US Postal Service (USPS), not a courier. If you go UPS, I believe that you may get hit with broker and/or other charges. Vaporus, JR Custom Turnings and a few other vendors sell the AW IMR batteries.

Got mine from vapour solutions just over a week ago. Ordered it on Friday was vaping it on Wednesday. I know it cost a little more, but for me it was worth knowing I'd get it quick and no hassles.

I was so tempted to put one in my cart last night when I ordered some juice from them. I chickened out at the last second though haha.

I hear ya. I must have put it in my cart a dozen times and cancelled it as well. I kept doing that on one page of my browser and then on another I'd be doing the same on the provape site. I went back and forth for about a week doing this almost daily before I pulled the trigger.

Haha, I'm sure I'll be pulling the trigger soon enough, I just have to be sure that's the mod I want.

It took me a week to finally hit "check out". When I finally did a sudden looseness overcame my innards, luckily I had recently evacuated.
