I have my Provari in hand, and all I can say is wow. Should've gotten this a long time ago.

Aside from being just an absolute beauty, it's given me renewed confidence in my DID coil-building abilities. It's only given me one error code, and my resistance has been pretty consistent throughout--I compulsively check it after every vape, and it's never varied by more than a point or two, and that only occasionally.

My only complaint so far (and this is reaching) is that the display is optimized for right-handers. Otherwise, Provape has another satisfied customer right here.

Oh - and they upgraded my shipping for no charge. My hat is well and truly off to the folks at Provape.

Gonna go put this thing through its paces. Maybe there will be pics to follow, if I can find my camera.

Getting one next month. I am trying to decide on the mini or the regular. I like the look of the mini better but it is too small IMO. I think I will go with the regular with an extender on it. Black with red led. Congrats MisterMike? Any reconmendations on a tank for under $25 that looks excellent on the Provari? Chrome, aluminum, or ss caps?

Thanks everyone!

WHOOT WHOOT

Happy to be the first to congratulate you!

You obviously did not benefit from a Catholic education

The Alberta public school system back in the '80s was pretty liberal in its views on handedness. PS - Thanks for the Whoots.

Congratulations!! what colour did you get? extension cap?

Hmm, according to my calculator, I should be able to afford one Feb next year :(

Satin silver, with the extension cap rocking a 2000 mAh AW IMR 18650. Red LED. I would've gone green if they'd had it in stock, but it wasn't that important. I like all the colours.

Provari high five.

Right back at ya!

ya those look sweet but as a noob i'd be lost using it :p so ill just stick with my ego twist 4 now ")

Not to worry. I still use my Twist all the time. They're a great little PV, perfect for learning variable voltage a little more intuitively. This purchase was the result of much research and a small windfall that allowed me to splurge.

And now, as promised, some pics:

Now, I'm no Dusty when it comes to photography, but there ya go.

Congrats on the Provari! Always loved mine, and Provape's service is first rate. It was literally my first mod (I reasoned at the time that if I was going to go big, I might as well get the best) and it's never been out of rotation in the last ... well, it'll be coming up on a year and a half soon enough.

Nice, glad to hear your enjoying it. It's on my list, but it's a long list.

So from your complaint, small one at that, I take it your a lefty.

Show me a person with a short list, and I'll show you someone with a large collection. Or perhaps without interest in collecting. Or money. Okay, that wasn't as pithy as I'd have liked. (Does that make it pith-poor?)

And you got it. I'm a proud port-sider. I actually do a lot of things right-handedly, but where it counts, I'm a southpaw through and through. The doctors labeled me "mixed dominance" when I was a wee one (I was part of an 8-year-long study on the physical and cognitive development of premature babies.) but I have no truck with that silliness. I am a lefteous lefty.

And now, another tangent has concluded.

You can't go wrong with the regular and an extender. (Says the guy who's had his mod for a total of six hours now.) Plus, if you do decide to get a mini later on, the extender will work with it too.

Far as tanks go, I'll leave that to someone more experienced with them to answer that. I'm assuming you mean a carto tank? If so, I've never used one, and all other tank-y contraptions I have used have been for eGo batteries.

How do you like your DID on that 'vari? I recently purchased a zmax v2 (getting delivered today!) and I'm strongly considering an RBA (eternity, Penelope, DID are my whittled down choices). What are you finding with flavor, vapor, and ease of rebuilding?

Dredd

Congrats on the Zmax. I hear it's an excellent device. I was hemming and hawing between it and the Provari. Maybe in a couple months I'll pick one up.

The DID's great. Flavour and vapour are awesome. Workmanship is great, too. Very high-quality.

Ease of rebuilding is I'd say on par with any Genesis-style atomizer--that is to say, it can be a bit frustrating at first, but once you get it working, it's pretty straightforward to do it again. If you have the patience to tinker, then I'd recommend the DID hands-down.

The Provari marries really well with it, because it'll only cooperate once you've got a good coil set up. If anything is off-kilter, you'll get an error code. (Your mileage may vary on this one with respect to whether that's a good thing or really frustrating. I like the added peace of mind, myself.)

Jim from MMVapors is a great guy, too. Top-notch customer service, and an all-around great guy to deal with. He truly cares about his customers and his products.

I'm waiting patiently by the mailbox. Ordered one of the blems yesterday. Black, blue led with extension cap...Yeah!! The Zen...I'll be having one of those as soon as possible. I've two other variable mods both from the same manufacturer and one actually a beta prototype. This will be my second Pro-Vari....The first was here one minute and gone the next...Whereabouts remain unknown..

Funnily enough, I've learned over the years to do things that would require specially-made items for lefties right-handedly. Scissors, circular saws... Just easier that way. Anything that's ambidextrous, like a hammer or a pencil, however, I tend to do leftie.

Edit: Those fountain pens look nice, though.
