No bites yet? Me, I'm still stuck on a PS3 and an older NVIDIA Shield (Android). And an upgrade for me would probably be a high-end expensive mini Windows PC.
I got the impression that an Xbox Series X is a slightly beefier console than the PS5. It's also backwards compatible with Xbox's all the way back to the original Xbox. Xbox also has the Ultimate Game Pass, a Quick Resume feature, and it's backwards compatible with older Xbox controllers.
If you went with the PS5, it would be Gran Turismo (the latest version, I hear, is awesome) rather than Forza. And Halo would only work on an Xbox (or a PC). But I think you'd be happy with either an Xbox or a PS5.
