after the smell they off gassed, there's no way i'm subjecting myself or my wife to any of them. i'm not sensitive by any means. i've put up with a lot of chemicals. but this was something else completely overwhelming. not to mention the color's completely ruined all the way through the plastic on almost all of them.

only thing i'm considering salvaging is the o-rings.

As someone with much experience with isopropyl and acrylic (I am a sign maker) I would not recommend even saving the O-rings. Alcohol and acrylic do not mix. At all. The outgassing you smelled has also probably leeched some unsavory stuff into those O-rings. Trash the lot and start over. Sorry to see such a nice collection of drip tips go bad.

thanks for chiming in, xander.

wasn't even thinking about leeching into the o-rings. good point. i would have thought about it later then without knowing which were which, thrown away my other o-rings after they were all co-mingled.

that's only about half of them. the half that hadn't completely melted down or melted and welded to each other. it all happened in under 30 minutes. probably closer to 15. though, with the help of an ultra-sonic cleaner. they were all tips i'd allowed smokers to use to try a vape.
