I just flipped up my my (errr now my wife's) Macbook pro and noticed it was not fully charged after being plugged in all day.
Still 39% .... Hmmm weird. I reach down to re-insert the magnetic plug on the charge wire and got poked in the finger.

Closer examination and there was a 3/8" piece of 28g kanthal sucked in between the computer and the plug by the magnets.

Now I can't get it to charge and have to investigate weather the wire shorted out the computer side or the power cord side.
Man I hope I only need to replace the charger.

Errrrrr

Careful with you scraps of wire folks.

Thanks for the heads-up. Those scraps are NASTY...I stepped on one. OUCHIE. Just checked my MBPR -- all is well.
