PT coming appart!! Help needed.

I bought a 5v PT from madvapes in August, so the warranty is done, and the electrical cord is breaking/coming appart from the 'battery'. This does not have an inline battery.....'battery' is what I mean by what looks like the battery.

Is there a way for me to fix it? or should I just buy a new one. The wires are now exposed and starting to crack. I use my PT alot....in the car, at the computer and at work. Has anyone fixed one? How difficult would it be?

It's hard to tell how it's coming apart without a pic or something, if the cord is 'cracking' something as simple as electrical tape might 'fix' it. If it's actually coming apart inside the tube (battery looking thing) then it may require soldering and, depending on your skill-set and the skill-sets of those immediately around you, it maybe easier to buy a new one, or have it repaired/replaced by soldering (it's remarkably inexpensive and simple to build a new one, it's like the easiest circuit ever: usb cord > switch > connector)...
