Omg....

Got some 30g kanthal and 2 mm silica wick....
Did a decent wrap on a 1/16 bit, couldn't get the wick in.... unwrapped and moved to a 5/64, did 7 wraps I think it was, installed it and wicked with a flavor wick as well.... assembled the head, tested it, 2.5 ohms....

Hits like my aspire ets dual coil heads, even at 3.2 v.... flavor is muted compared to the aspire, though....

Try taking a piece if the silica wick bout 2 inches, separate all the strands, fold several strands in half and use a bead threader. I use that method for rewicking my protank heads with ekowool. You might have to torch the silica before reassembling. If you torch the wool or silica before you try to insert it they become crispy and harder to work with. The bead threader works good with cotton and hemp fiber, IMO it makes it more even on both sides of the coil.
