I would like to publicly apologize to Steve & team at Puresmoker. Friday night a large group of us were lined up around his new store with our noses pressed up against the glass anxiously awaiting his new grand opening in Tennessee. We were all having fun cracking jokes and counting how many times we were crashing the server on this forum. Finally his doors opened and we all stampeded thru the doors to quickly snap up his products.

Shortly afterwards I posted a new thread asking Steve what it was like on his end watching his stock deplete at what was probably a record rate. I was wondering what his reactions were to our crazy postings while we were waiting. Unfortunately, my thread turned into a PS bashing about the prices on his site. I too had wondered what happened because it had seemed when I picked my juice the price seemed different at checkout but I chose to just go to checkout. I posted the following on that thread.

"I thought the price went up when I was ordering my juice but I wasn't sure and didn't want to take the time to go back and look or take the chance it would be gone. I didn't know if it was me or a site glitch. It appeared to go up $10, but again I'm not sure. "

Well, I was bugged about how this could happen and most of all, how I got confused about the prices. So today I went back to his site and really looked at the pricing boxes on his juice. Suddenly it became crystal clear. On his 50ml bottle it says "add $22". In my frenzy to order I didn't see the little word "add". I thought I was ordering it for $22 and at checkout it showed $33. In hindsight, I should've realized no one sells a 50ml bottle of juice for $22. DUH!!

I really feel foolish and am wondering if others had made the same mistake that I did. When you're in a hurry to get what you want, sometimes you don't pay enough attention to what you should.

I'm really sorry Steve for any embarassment or stress my original thread or my comments may have caused you. You're a standup guy and we appreciate the hard work and sacrifice you do for us. At least I do.

I'm up late posting this thread so I will check tomorrow to see if you've seen it. Please add a post letting me know you've seen it. I'm not looking for forgiveness, I just want you to see it.

Again, I'm sorry a well intentioned thread went bad and want to wish you luck with your new home and business site. Take care.

Funny thing was, I was looking at their site constantly of the last week. E-SmokeyTreats, PureSmoker and Njoy were my 3 top sites to order my first e-cig from. Unfortunately everyone but NJoy was either down or out of stock.

I was on PureSmoker.com today and ordered what was left- thanks to everyone for raping their inventory (joke). Prices were great, was very happy. I was confused too by a few pricing glitches but they corrected themselves on checkout. It's an easy mistake to make and since they are updating the site constantly and with the drastic decrease in stock over such a short period of time I'm sure issues are arising.

I tried to order some liquid, said it was in stock but when I went to select the MG it wouldn't allow me to. So the site is a bit buggy at the moment!

Also: very nice to see someone apologize over an honest mistake. The E-Cig community is still small and bad reviews can crush a vendor pretty quickly. As a business owner myself, thank you for the clarification.

That is exactly why I did it. A lot of newbies read this forum and I would hate to think even one of them decided not to buy from PS because of that thread. If I had my way that whole thread would be deleted.

Just a bump to make sure Steve sees this. I'm surprised 92 people have read this and no one said a word. Hmmm.

IdahoJO--you were very clear here in about your intentions with the thread you started and made it very clear that it was not your intention at all to see it get out of hand. Steve has a good head on his shoulders and I am sure he took no offense----Sun

Thank you for all the kind remarks. I just have a strong moral code that says if I screw up I need to do everything I can to make it right. Also, you shouldn't mess with someone's livlihood unless they truly and completely deserve it. We all know businesses and people like that. Steve didn't deserve those remarks.

This was very kind of you to say. I was quick to defend Steve/PS in the other thread that got totally threadjacked by a very unkind comment (not yours!).

I think the spirit of your original post was clear - that you were joking/teasing about how quickly everything went out of stock Friday night. And I can totally understand how someone could rush and make an honest mistake. I'm glad you went back to review what you saw so you understand you weren't given the old bait and switch.

I don't think Steve has the character to be so dishonest or greedy. I saw the small increases, and I think he's working hard to keep his prices fair and affordable for all of us. I was sad to see the post following your original post in the "other" thread that seemed to attack Steve. Thanks for taking the time to clear all this up. I got nothing but love for Steve and the PS family. I'm glad you're feeling better about the pricing too. :)
