The Chinese engineer who walks for exercise maybe wears a pedometer to more or less see how far he walked each day and how many steps. Shazaam, we need a puff counter for neurotics to upload on their PC to do pie charts and bar graphs. He also wears a 24 hours blood pressure cuff to upload his blood pressure hourly. What does this mean? Nothing.
I would prefer a f*rt counter and may write the mfg to add it to the program. It would be helpful to know if you hadn't f*rted in a month or f*rted 150 in one day. Probably after vaping Crab juice. This could be invaluable information to your f*rt doctor.
Well, I feel, hold on braaap, OK see? I think I'm onto somethig. SBD, that's two. I love, oh God, vaping. Three. This is going to be a great day!

Not really sure what your complaint is?
eVic - firmware update rev 1.2 Set any info needed to the main screen.

Puff counter is for people that would like to know if they are vaping way more than normal or are trying to reduce usage.
Nicotine intake is probably more important to many than GAS release.

Well one of my sister in law's biggest complaints about electronic cigarettes (which i think is just an excuse not to make the switch) is that she gets no sense of when she's done. I can see where it might be useful for someone like HER who wants a precise experience interval.

I think it's an important part of research. Maybe not something everybody needs to do but it would be certainly interesting for someone to study things like, on an 18650 battery with a 2 ohm carto, vaping at 3.6V how many puffs do i get before my battery dies? Or maybe how many puffs do i need to take to get me to get my blood pressure to a particular rate. This way you could scientifically calculate what you'd need to be doing to reducing your intake. It's probably not necessary to do things like this but for some people, this level of data study is interesting and might be something they like to do.

If I ever get so .... I need to know my puffs per hour, puffs per battery charge, or puffs in a tank of juice and then feel the need to do a pie chart....

well I hope someone just shoots me at that point...
How many times do I breathe each day? I really don't care as long as I get the next one. I will be more concerned with miles per gallon.

Well it worked. As always, people that have no use for something will swarm to challenge its very existence.

Case in point - read the reactions after my first post. and I never said I use it
I have 2 eVics and never open the software except to update. My home screen is updated to show Volts/Ohms/Batt remaining power/Watts :D

crxess, how do you like them? I've seen reviews but not in person. Phil said it had pretty good heft and it did what it was supposed to do. Can't complain about that.

Honestly, for me, they work great. I tend to learn about anything I use and apply that knowledge to get the most out of that item. Doesn't matter if it is an APV, Flat screen TV or a chain saw.

I would laugh at people complaining about it not reaching 15watts, except they are unnecessarily scaring off less informed purchasers. Most people Vape within the Safe limits of this device and would never have an issue.

I enjoy a nice warm Vape and the eVic delivers. I generally use tanks/kangers or cartos in the 1.7-2.6ohm range and run from 7-8.5w depending on the e-liquid and/or device.

Also let me state I am not a fanboy and regularly use my Vamo, Mech mods and a slew of Ego batteries depending on what I'm doing.

I have a Vamo too and I love it, seriously. Only VW device I have and I'm always switching cartos, vivi novas etc. I put a carbon fiber wrap on it and for the money it works like a charm. I have ego's a Provari which is nice but honestly sitting at my desk vapig any of them are fine. I like the fact that you can defend yourself with the Vamo. :)
