So, got it everything on Saturday (really quick shipping) and I like it, but it's not going to be enough to get me quitting smokes unless I get more oomph. 18 mg doesn't seem to be strong enough, and the vapor I'm getting seems a wee bit on the cutesy side; that is, I need (apparently) something hitting my throat with a rusty pair of cleats.

My question is: how do I get that based on my setup (EVOD starter)? Are there cheaper parts (e.g. liquid, coils, etc.) I can try swapping out first? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

For me it depended more on the juice than the nicotine content. I could tell the difference between 24 and 12, but not really between 18 and 12. The tobacco flavors from indigo vapor are my go to when I'm feeling the need for a kick in the throat. Captain OOHRAH is my favorite so far, but after going through half of their flavors in the sampler pack I haven't found one I really don't like @ 18mg. I started on an EVOD kit like yours. Switching to an MVP V2 (or probably any other VV/VW mod) helps, but most of it came down to my choice of liquid.

Higher nic content - 36~24, and 80%PG/20%VG juice. Higher PG = more throat hit. After that, controlled regulation VV-VW APV or unregulated mech - to run an RDA (dripper) or RBA (rebuildable atomizer).

Hrm.... the "tobacco" liquid I got tasted like pancake syrup. It also doesn't feel very thick. Is there a ratio that works better? This was 80/20 I believe.

I started with a EVOD starter kit. Still use them, they are great for trying out new juice flavors. I already have made up my mind that when then they wear out I will pick up the new EVOD VV starter kit, comes with mini protank 2's. No worry about juice breaking them.

EVOD's need a long slow drag to get them really going. Take your time when you drag and I'll bet you will see the bigger clouds you are looking for.
