Pulled to the Vaping Side

My friend came over yesterday to try his first vape, 3 puffs and he was sold! He's quitting cold turkey from Analogs today. I believe he'll have no problems switching seeing his wife has been nagging him for 10 years, lolz.

vaping almost sells it's self. I think it mostly comes down to presenting the right e-juice for the person and them seeing how well it has worked for yourself.

I've only been vaping since Aug 15. I have 3 conversion under my belt already. Friends are amazed and throwing comments my way on the all positive changes in me. They say I have more colour to my skin, less dark bags under the eyes, more energy, smoother voice...

I also think that friends enjoy all the goodness of being friends without the cranky, moody, grumpiness that normally goes with quitting. I think my friends wife will appreciate that too!

Thanks for your input. I've decided to check myself simply because of what you said. No pressure, let him come to me. I did it without anyone in my face and that probably helped me immensely when I think back on it now. Even if he does have a cig, I'll just support him...not nag him. ;D

I put a whole kit together for my sister on Tuesday....with extra atomizers, extra tanks, carry case, 2 large 30ml bottles of my favorite 2 juice and all my spare mixing bottles filled with samples of other juices I seem to have collected since starting 6-7 weeks ago. It's been winging it's way to Winnipeg and I'm hoping she gets it today. She was here 2 weeks ago and nagged me last night that I haven't sent her the e-cigarette links yet. I'm sure she will still break down and have analogs now and again since her husband smokes heavily, and of course, I broke down when they were visiting last week. But you know, as much as I still miss a "real" cigarette, my e-cigarette gives me far more satisfaction!!!!

This! I am so weak when it comes to smoking...when people see that this is working for me, they BELIEVE it has to work for themselves! lol

Congrats, that's fantastic! Aren't the changes amazing and I know my husband appreciate's not having a miserable, albeit smoke-free wife. The positive changes that happen when quitting smoking are also enough to keep me away from analogs. I feel such empathy for those that have such horrible cravings for analogs, even while vaping. That has to be really tough. I'm lucky in that I haven't craved an analog at all this second week into vaping. I gotta say though, that I crave vaping now! lol

Haha no but when I keep getting packages in the mail I threaten her with the analogs and it gives me a shooting license for all the toys/juice I want to buy I credit and appreciate her for that.

Thanks go out to all the tar lung cadavers for scaring the bejevus out of me and friends! lolz. Apparently for my age I just reduced my chances of dieing from smoking related illnesses by 75%

I've watched the videos, too. I always avoided stuff like that...denial, or something. Never happen to me, yada, yada, yada. Now, I have made myself face my fear and denial. I hope combined with vaping, it's enough.

That must be really tough for you. How many analogs do you still smoke? I hear there is a new eliquid that has whole tobacco alkaloid's. That might be what you need to get off of analogs for good.

If anyone actually wants to quit, vaping is the way it is done. I've tried everything and quit for months at a time but everyday since my last cig I wanted one. Now I wouldn't ever touch an analog, if for some reason I got into a serious jam like some people on here I don't know how I could cause I have so much crap I'd just do the gum until my supplies landed again because I used to say I'd smoke till I died now I'll just vape till I die and hopefully it'll be much longer.
