The punched cartomizers you guys sell really dont work that good with the Jtank.
It worked great at first but after one or two refills...it started leaking all over the place when trying to refill.
Almost returned the Jtank thinking it was faulty, but then i read a review from your website about the punched cartos leaking (because they get warped)...so i tried the Jtank with a non modified carto and it didnt leak. Later made slits on them and still didnt leak.
I will do more testing on this but im sure its the cartos warping when you are punching them. Right now im using a carto that had the black sticker on them (took off the sticker) and they MIGHT have different dimensions than the regular stainless cartos, hence they arent leaking...but i highly doubt it.
To make sure, i have placed an order of the stainless steel cartos (non modified) so i can test it. Will contact you guys through email if they in fact DO leak so i can replace the Jtank that i got....and in that case, the punched cartos wouldnt be to blame.
The reason i wanted to make this thread, was just to let you guys know...maybe there are other alternatives to punching cartos. Maybe drill them??
Lastly i want to thank you Jason and company for doing such a great job. I love the Jtank, Don, and your triple A+ service. The Jtank is extremely well made and so is the Don.
