I can think of a few times that I have come in from the mailbox with my FSUSA box tucked under my shirt and getting to my closet and putting it away quick
And I thought I was the only one who did that!
My hubby is pretty nice about my spending money on vaping stuff. And the few times he's not - um, there's reason....

I spend a LOT of my spare time getting lectures about spending money, retirement, going back to work to pay the vaping bills ... you know what I mean.

TT--you should tell wifey dear that you want to enjoy your life....you've worked hard to achieve what you have...plus ya can't take it with ya. I can afford to be a little crass, since I got traded in on a newer model with less mileage. But I never did see the need for being sneaky. Life is too short for the games people play. So stand up to her, then run like hell!

And THAT'S the problem. I've told her all that and stood right up to her like a real man! Then I ran. Problem is, my knees are so messed up I can't even walk real quick let alone run. She just reaches out, grabs me and body slams me to the ground.

So in my case, sneaky is the best policy!

This is a great thread! We have been married 40 years, and right from the gate, he had his credit card, and I had mine. He has his banking account, and I have mine. He has his car note and I had mine. He has his household bills to pay, and I have mine. Over the years this has raised alot of eyebrows........but this system works very very well. I have never ever questioned his purchases and he has never questioned mine. HOWEVER........

It is very difficult to hide 11 sewing machines and MOUNTAINS of fabric. I used to keep fabric in the trunk of MY car and then try to sneak it into the house. This worked nicely for several years......until one day he opened the closet of the spare bedroom. His jaw dropped! But I could rationalize that to him as needing all of that fabric so that at any given moment I could sew up a quilt, clothes, draperies etc.....

He won't complain about my e-cig purchases because he's getting freebies! I'm footin the bill for his supplies as well as mine.

It's all good.
