Puresmoker - Okay, I'm a dork...

I vaped on the 901 for the first week - then decided to try a penstyle - never looked back - I love my 801! Nice, substantial feel to it, really smooth draw, great battery and cart life, and it vapes like a dragon!

So what if it looks like I'm puffing on a magic marker?

Not so much a magic marker - more like one of those "exec pens" you see under glass for waaaaaaaaaaay too much $$$

Have an njoy pro I paid too much for obviously. I ordered 5 peewee carts for it, 2 bottles of juice (french pipe and riskee yuice), a syringe, and a penstyle starter (gonna give the njoy). Wanted to order the Bada Bing after seeing someones video review but I was too late I guess.

Zep - keep your NJOY as a spare - never know when it'll all crap out at once...a spare vaper is better than a stale analog any day!

Meant to say "I'm gonna give the Njoy to the fiancee"

And I just discovered I ordered a "Hybrid Pilot" instead of a Pen style...Coulda sworn I picked pen when I ordered, but my order details say I ordered the Pilot...

How is the Pilot? Can anyone clue me in? Is it the same as the Pen Style but with the funky battery?

Thx,

The Pilot was my first e-cigarette. While I'm sure it's not the worst thing on the market, I haven't been very impressed. The only way I can get it to work for me well at all is to 'drip.' Two drips of liquid nets me about half a dozen puffs.

It is also bad about liquid in the mouth when I use the cartridges, but I have that same problem with the Njoy, so it may be that I'm just doing something wrong. I've also found that the batteries for both the Pilot and the Njoy (NPRO) only last three or four hours, so I'm constantly recharging.

I'm just hoping that the pen style will let me at least smoke the equivalent of one cigarette before I have to do anything else with it.

I had the liquid in the mouth when I first started with the Njoy, but I think I was drawing way to hard as a beginner, I was sucking straight into the lungs hard. Once I started smoking it like a regular smoke, I stopped getting the liquid.

I will order a Bada Bing when they are in stock again tho.

I take my charger to work with me, so Njoy battery charge time hasn't been a problem.

I also only puff it maybe once every 20 minutes or so. I am not totally off of regular smokes, yet, as I am still in the experimental stage. :)

Good tip, Zep. I'll have to experiment since I haven't had a real cigarette since October of 2007 (just thousands of pieces of nicotine gum-yuck!). Have a good nights sleep! I, myself, can't go until after midnight because Twilight goes on sale at 12:01-and is the gift my youngest child most desires for her birthday this weekend. Yawnnnnnnnnn

I was wishing for a pilot USB passthrough...

Is there such a thing?

I've yet to see one if there is.

You can set-up your own e-cig passthrough system quite easily though. First you want to mkae sure to scrape all the paint off your battery so the metal is exposed. Then, go out to your car and hook one end of your jumper cables up to your battery. For the other half you're going to positive-end clamp and clip in onto your battery about 3cm away from the LED, and then clip the negative one around the outside of that atomizer. Then you ust need to sit in your car and turn it on and you have your own passthrough. ;)

But seriously, there are a couple of really good threads that teach you dtep by step make your own aromizer, easily and inexpensively.
