Put yourself on the map

I found this really interesting widget for counting visitors that puts your dot on both a flat world map and a spinning globe. I was looking at it and thought it would be neat to see the map filled with people who vape, and where we are worldwide.

It does not identify you in any way, just a dot on a map that shows where on the globe you're on.

You'll need to allow for the page to load, then scroll down and look at your dot appear on both maps. The maps are near the bottom of the page.

Also need help designing a new header for my site. The one I made looks like el crapo.

I discovered your dot remains, but if you leave the site, it no longer "flashes". I may need to make a bigger map though, the dots are hard to see.

somebody had made a vapers map on google...but for the life of me I cant find it now...but you could add an icon for yourself...I'lll have to dig and see if I can find it again

And saw someone out in the UK pop up! It updates in real time, and your dots last forever.

Here's a question Jim. I see the dot for Las Vegas flashing which is where I am but at the same time there is one flashing from St. Paul Minn. Is that because there are 2 people looking at the same time? This is pretty cool!

More than likely that is the case. If two or more persons enter my website in the same area, only one dot gets created on both the globe and flat map, but each visit is recorded on the map itself. If you click the flat map, it will take you to the page that has a larger version. Put your mouse arrow over the dots will display in a pop-up how many visits came from that city/state.

This would be a cool gadget to add here.

Yes, they remain as a permanent mark on the map and globe.

doesn't make since why it says Keeseville, NY for me when I live in Plattsburgh, NY (15 minutes north of Keeseville) and Plattsburgh is the "big" city in comparison to keeseville... oh well.
