Too bad I did not meet you last year when we were at Gettysburg. It was fantastic!
Our group fired cannon at the 150th reenactment of the battle.
Tried to see a reenactment there in '88 but after spending 6 hours in a traffic line of doom, finding parking and walking to the battlefield it was over.
We then went to KFC for food along with hoards of confederate solders. While waiting in line I got talking with a few of them and they had marched from Georgia and the only place they could eat at away from the "approved" provisions they brought with them was KFC as it was like they were raiding a farmhouse.
The looks on the KFC workers' faces actually helped this as they did look besieged. All the guys waiting in line and my group had a hearty laugh about this and they started demanding beer when they ordered. Sooooo funny!

Shaneguide lives about 30 minutes south from me.. lived in his town for quite a few years! my daughter's fathers still live in Saco/Biddo- drive down there twice a week!

I have to admit that I am not very knowledgeable about the local music scene
i was a manager at Tower Records in Boston for 7 years...and lived with and was a live and studio engineer for a band. Music is essential. what type of music do you prefer? Soignee started a really good thread in the Lounge...it's called Jam Band Fans Unite
