Thanks for the coupon code and the words of encouragement.

I definitely agree with switching the juices up. I've noticed that the more you vape a specific juice the more you perceive it differently. I found it very similar to wearing the same cologne over and over.

I like your fragrance reference. I've worn the same fragrance for many years. I hardly notice it, but I still get compliments from others, so I'm sticking with it.

I'm pretty new still, but I've noticed when I fall in love with a juice and vape it all day, it gets to where it doesn't taste the same to me. I think the taste buds wise up, and say, "Oh, this is the same thing again, ignore it.":D

Now I keep a couple of clearomizers loaded with different juice and switch it up during the day. Lots better.

Welcome to the forum, and glad you are having success with vaping. I am still amazed at how easy it has been for me. Imagine that! Me, not smoking.:)

I'm glad you posted this thread because I was going to ask this exact question. I'd heard "horror stories" that the Halo Triton doesn't work that well with many other liquids because it doesn't handle heavy VG mixes well. This is only my third day in the world of vaping and I thought I'd made a huge mistake in buying the Triton. Appreciate you guys helping to clear that up.

Off topic, but are those halo flavors really good?

Yes, they are. Rich, well crafted. They are not subtle. They have FLAVOR! And none are one note. Not all are my favs, but I can appreciate the depth of flavor.

Halo seemed to design the Triton to excel at their juices. And they do. And why not design for your liquids. Halo's model seems to be one stop shopping. Get a bat, a tank and juice that all works perfectly together.

I haven't tried heavy VG mixes, but some people have had challenges with the VG heavy juices. A few drops of distilled water helps.

Having said that, I have a few viscious juices, and they do great in the triton.

I think you did a wonderful job in choosing the Halo Triton. It produces an amazing vapor cloud and throat hit. It is also listed as a second generation E-Cig so technically you are using one of the latest technologies around....which has been proven by many users before you.

Welcome CNYC! It's great to have you here with us!

Congrats on two weeks analog free!

Just be sure you vape enough to keep the proper amount of nic in your system right now and drink plenty of water.

I know when I started, I had a full pack of analogs left and thought at first I would keep them just in case.

After a week, I realized that it was silly to have the temptation around and after that second week it got much easier and with no analogs around, I had to depend on my Triton to get me thru which it did.

The smartest thing I ever did was come here and get involved in this forum immediately after receiving my Triton.

I truly wouldn't have been as successful as I was without the help of these wonderful people on this forum.

If you feel cravings coming on, lean on us, that's what we're here for.

And if you slip up, don't worry about it, just get back on the horse and keep going.

As far as juice goes, I love Halo juices and I always have my favs on hand, but am really loving AIV right now.

Really I have tried so much juices in these Triton tanks and I think it is true that it's probably OK unless it's something extreme.

Extreme cinnamon, citrus, anise, etc.

On most of these sites, they will note that a certain flavor should not be used with polycarbonate tanks so you will be fine.

Honestly, I haven't ruined a tank yet and I have tried so much stuff.

Cinnamon in bakery items doesn't seem to be a problem, but I wouldn't try Cinnamon Red Hots or anything like that.

Anyway, I just intended to say welcome and then I went and wrote a book!

I know that doesn't surprise anyone who knows me!

Tribecca, Belgian cocoa, voodoo. I have a sampler, plus varying nic levels of tribecca and Belgian. Also have turkish. But I've only smoked those three, because using up some tasty flings, and also purchased peachy keen and peppermint patty (was more peppermint in the store, now more patty at home), needed some quick 6mg vapes.

Haven't even used up the pre filled cartos from the kit, but they tend to be strong at 12 mg. what IS handy is the coupon code and the points for free juice.

The vapes from the store, one is 50/50, and my newbie draws may have gunned the tank up a bit. Can clean out, always keep a spare tank or two. The other is 70/30 citrus, and seems fine in the tank. I believe halo is 80:20, and they may even vary it by juice.

Are ratios normally PG/VG ? That's what would make sense to me being that halo juice is so thin. I'm rethinking how I make my DIY since I use a triton. Currently my mix is 60 VG, 30 PG, 10 alcohol . I wanted it thicker because I like how thick Mr. Goodvape is but I'm thinking it may cause issues for my triton :-/
