Hi I’m new here and the names cody. Have some stuff to run by some more experienced users. I’ve been vaping for 2 yrs total but had a break between. I returned about 3 months ago and am a die hard smok fan however I just found out that they a rotating out the v12 prince tank my go-to and favorite tank on the market so I wanted to get some advice

I’m looking into the new tanks smok has released or releasing soon and kinda torn between which to switch too. Im looking at the TFV 16 & 18

My current set up is the AEGIS from geek vape set at 85W with the TFV12 prince cobra edition on it running the v12 prince mesh coils

So my question is if I want the same feeling and flavor from vaping which tank should I switch to and what coils should I be using in it. I really don’t want to have to go on a soul search to find the right tank and coil again.

Welcome back to vaping! I am so sorry that I cannot help you with your question. I am sure there will be many others that will be able to help you so you will not be "Puzzled" at all. unnamed.gif

I can, however, welcome you to ECF and tell you that I am so glad that you are here. That, I do rather well. Look forward to seeing you around.

As you may or may not know, smok equals junk. That said, you can't go wrong with a fireluke. I've been using a fireluke 2 for a couple years now. They use mesh, which I personally think is the greatest innovation in drop in coils in the history of drop in coils. The 2 coil head is .20-.22 ohms and the single rings in at .15 ohms. The fireluke may not be as big as a beastly TFV16, but it's a solid performer. I have several of them and if I suddenly decide I need a new tank, I'll get another fireluke 2. Also, you should prepare for the eventuality of not being able to get coils anymore and have a few rebuildables on hand

The Smok prince tanks are fine, but their mods are crap.

You might be interested in Lighthouse (Kangertech) sale. You have to create an account and log in to see the price, but they have the 3pk boxes of the V-6 coils for the Prince TFV12 on sale for 49 cents.

    SMOK TFV12 Prince X6 Replacement Coils - 3PK

You can also buy an rda for the Prince TFV12 and make your own coils for it.

In my opinion the Freemax coils are the best. The Vaporesso gtx coils are a close second.

As was mentioned at Kanger wholesale they have TFV12 coil three packs right now for $0.50 a box you could buy a lifetime supply there's like 20,000+ boxes of them right now for sale. I personally use a TFV8 sometimes because it takes so many different kinds of coils I don't tend to use the coils from the brand smok though I did recently buy a couple hundred of them just because they were so cheap. I prefer my coils to last for quite a bit longer than they do but for $0.50 a box of five in the case of the TFV8 I'm not complaining they're decent. Anyway I would head on over there and just check it out It's at this point my favorite shop online

I had the tfv16 king absolutely loved it.. Juicy tho at steady 100w lol, gave it away after a while cause buying coils gets bit ridiculous then tfv18 came out and coils fit tfv16 including rba.. Sods law[emoji23]
