Any PV without a tank will have the same taste pretty much. Main thing effecting taste/vapor is the atomizer brand and voltage. By Using a LR atomizer your giving your voltage a boost and vapin' the juice hotter.

Im running a 1.5oms LR on a 3.7v and it seems to be a nice setting for me flavor-wise.

Edit: Learning to dry burn and eventually cleaning your atomizers (I use boiling water) will help you keep them like new and prolong their life.

Dripping on an 801 atty is far and away the most flavorful vape I've tried. I've tried 510, 306, 901, 801 all with carto, atty and bottom feed mods.
Depending on the juice, increased flavor can be good or bad, though.
I, for example, cannot stand Boba's bounty in an 801. It is a very highly regarded juice, but it is either my taste buds or the 801 that make it WAY to strong a flavor.
I find that a lot of juices other people enjoy, I cannot tolerate. maybe it's just my 801.
I really enjoy strong flavors in food and drink, so I don't fully understand my own perception of some of the flavors in juice; but one day I'm going to do a sit down comparison of different juices on different atty's (if I get the time).

No. 801 attys are a different threading. You need a adapter (see goodprohets.com, altsmoke.com or madvapes.com) and you need a 801 drip tip

An Ego tank requires an Ego tank atty

You might also like cartomizers on your Ego - try Boge 510 soft-cap cartomizers in both standard and LR (low resistance and hotter) and I usually use a plastic or delrin 510 drip tip as a mouthpiece in the carto (easy to pull out for adding a bit of juice).

BTW - Are you smelling the vapor? Because otherwise yes, many juices will taste the same. The tongue can only sense sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami (MSG). Some tobaccos may have none of those flavors. Some may have a bit of sweet. Many fruits will have some balance of sweet and sour, but it's not a particular fruit until you smell it. Food works with same way but food has the added benefits of visual and chewing texture.

You need to remember to let your nose have vapor. In addition, you can become accustomed to an aroma/flavor so you I find it helps to alternate contrasting juices. ALternate a sweet one with a non-sweet one etc. Also I find if I am drinking hot liquids like tea it will dull my sense of taste for the juice and some people say alcoholic drinks can also dull taste and smell. Ice water seems to refresh my taste.
