I need help deciding on my next PV. I'm trying to decide between the iTaste MVP or the eGo-V V2, I know a lot of people will probably say iTaste, but the main thing I'm worried about is the size and weight of it. I bought a Versa because I liked the design of it, but I find that I practically never use it. It's my 'back up' now. I don't use it because I don't like bothering with taking the batteries out to charge it and because it is heavy and feels cumbersome to me. I have a Twist (650mah) and a Vision Spinner (900mah) that I use all the time because it is light (like cigarettes were) and slim, it goes in my purse easily.

I WOULD like another mod for long trips or for vaping around the house, never really considered or liked the box style design (just seemed awkward to vape out of a rectangular box) but now I'm curious and kinda want to get one. I'm worried I'll feel the same way about it as I do the Versa though, nothing wrong with the PV itself, I just don't like a PV feeling very heavy and big. I am a girl and have small hands so I don't want to feel like I'm lifting a brick to take a puff.

Soo just sayin... should I get one of these 2 PVs or just get another Spinner? Only reason I want another PV is because I want one with long battery life, has a passthrough so I don't have to take out batteries, and just to have a new toy really... that's pretty much why anyone keeps buying after all. I just want to make sure I'll actually use it! :p

I've been thinking about getting an APV for a long time... But I have the same problem. I don't want anything that looks like a crack pipe. I love my Twists and Spinners...

Do you have a B&M store in your area? Or is there maybe a vape meet scheduled in your area? The best way would be to actually play with those devices to figure out how they would feel in your hand. I went to my local store and did that--I'm not ready to make a leap-yet! But some of those smaller mods are really nice--just different.

I have an MVP and love it. It's comfy to hold and use. BUT, it is all-metal and I would describe it as "heavy" for a PV. It's like holding a laptop's AC adapter. Your hands will fit around it an all that but it's a dense little sucker.

Does that help? The MVP quickly became my at-home battery, but I'd never take it out and about with me. With a tank attached it's an awkward shape.

Given the single 16340 battery of the T-Max I can't see it being good for extended vaping time without several back-up batteries and it is pretty big considering how small the battery is. You might try one of the battery box mods just to see it you like it, they aren't expensive and are handy for a back up even if you don't use it as a main PV.

Oh...that's disappointing. :( I ordered one that should be here today or tomorrow, specifically for using when we go on Vacation in May..my eGo's just won't have enough battery life to deal with 'family'.

Don't worry, the MVP is not really that big. It does have a little heft to it, but nothing to be concerned about. You get used to it pretty quickly. The battery will last you for a good two days, too. It is a really nice PV, and I would have no problem recommending it to someone.

Actually it never made the cut with the 16340 battery configuration. They have since retooled it for use with an 18650 battery.

Yea, I think I'm going to get a MVP despite the heft to it. I'll probably only use it at home or long trips... I can't imagine what kind of weird looks I'd get using it in public. I mean, a regular slim pen style e-cig, some/most people would probably realize I'm tooting on a e-cig, but the box mods have always looked like bomb detonators to me. The other thing is that it has a passthrough charger and can be used to charge my phone in case of an emergency... and my phone's battery sucks. Hope it doesn't feel too big for me. Oh well... I guess with a longer battery life, I'll have to expect some heft.

I read in one of the threads that Segelei (sp?) has changed the design slightly to hold a bigger battery. I'm going to have to find the thread. I don't know how long 16340's last. Is the time much shorter than an 18350?

Hi! I type too slow! I'm not sure they're out just yet. I've seen pre-orders. There was a person on the thread were I read about the battery update who said their order (possibly direct from Segelei) had been delayed due to the design change.

You could wrap it to look like a phone or tablet-thingy.

I use my MVP everywhere. Really, unless your PV looks just like a cig, you'll be bound to get looks. It fits very comfy in my hand, and honestly I love that I can set it down anywhere and not worry about it rolling off, lol. The battery on this thing kicks .... too. I let my mom borrow my Smoov xl to see if she wanted to start vaping too, but even if I had it around, I'm not sure I'd ever other using it. Fits perfectly in the back pocket of my jeans also.

Ok, well I did order the MVP in silver. Very excited to get it! It's not about whether or not I can lift it or not... I guess it's just a preference? It's like cell phones... the more performance/battery life you want, it's going to be bigger but some may prefer a more light weight product. Either way, I think I'll be happy with the MVP. I also like the fact that it is not round, as 90% of the time when I drop my PV is because it rolls off the table. The other 10% is because I was probably drunk.

I almost got the eGo/SLB V2, but I looked at the dimensions and that thing is pretty darn long! I had to take out a ruler to get an idea for it and it's good bit longer than my 900mah Spinner, and with a clearo/tank attached, it'll be even longer! It may not be a big deal for some people, but I don't want to feel like I am vaping a bat. Plus, bigger ones take up too much space in my purse. Anyways, I'll be using this at home mostly so it won't matter but I'll def bring it with me out in case my Spinner dies or my phone needs a recharge.

Got some Ms. T juices coming and also picked up some Evods. I may get a Pro Tank in the near future but I think I'm set for now. :D
