We get a number of inquiry's on how to get their mixtures with the correct percentages of PG and VG. It seems the majority of vapers who DIY enjoy a bit of VG in their mixtures to give their vape some volume, but working with flavorings, especially multiple flavors, it becomes almost like a complex math equation to figure out how to hit your mark with your PG:VG blend ratio.

The answer to the question is a free program created by Breaktru Software called eJuice Me Up. This calculator is extremely versatile and will do all the math for you.

Keelalagirl sorry about the slow response here, life has thrown me a curveball and I am re-adjusting to deal with some things...

for me its 20 drops per ml, I do believe it is an individual thing as everyones pressure when dropping and speed is different. I would suggest putting two ml in a bottle and counting out the drops to see what you come up with :)

No problem...I know how that goes....I'm currently out of town for a funeral, so...yeah...life bites ya sometimes.

That is kinda what I thought....but I didn't want to assume that and wasn't sure how to test without using my stock and losing some in the process (if that makes sense....). I appreciate your response and hope all is going better for you.

Hello! I just found your site and I have some questions about the Flavor Apprentice flavors.

Some of the flavors say "extra" - what does that mean?

How concentrated are the flavors, compared to Lorann's? (Would I be using more or less or about the same?)

Except where indicated, are they pretty much flavor + PG? Do some have other ingredients, like coloring?

Are they water-soluble?

I'm excited about some of those flavors, can't wait to try them, but I'm paranoid about what goes into my lungs. Yeah, after 40 years smoking cigs, now I'm paranoid. LOL.

Many thanks!

Hello Seaotter :)

Extra means they are stronger then normal flavors in this line. :) It really can depend on the flavor, who is stronger or better with Flavor Apprentice vs Loranns. I always suggest with the non-extra flavors to start at 10% and then test, add a couple drops and retest to find what percentage works for you.

Some flavors are colored, some are also based in ethyl alcohol, for example Menthol Liquid is based as such. None of them are Oil based, all water soluble :)

Hope that helps :)
