Hi guys, i have already posted a couple of times, been vaping properly for a week and half now. I am from england.

I have a few questions, some specific and some generic.

I started with a liberro realis.. still like the kit but i am kind of neglecting it since i got my riva 510 from vapescape as recommended by chrissie on ecf as well as vapoor_eyes. However so far i have not had a good experience.

Well battery life and the device itself. Bang on i love it. I have since fell in love with the idea of using cartos with a drip tip. However its the actual cartos im have the negativity with. Two of my cartos have formed a burnt taste even though they were filled to the max. I therefore ordered some boge lr cartos, also from vapescape. However the same thing happened with two of the them.

By removing the rubber mouthpiece they look the same in terms of the vertical coil even in size so i wouldnt be surprised if they are boge cartos as standard.

I phoned vapescape, they said the riva runs at 4.7 V fullly charged then decreases as you use the device. My eliquid may not be helping as when i filled the clearo that came with the kit, it tastes like a plasticy/metally taste. The other e liquid i got free with my liberro is just rubbish in terms of flavour. I unknowingly ordered it. Need to wait two weeks before i can order more liquid (broke till payday lol).

What cartos would you recommend? I have heard and read lots about boges being a hit and miss.

And what uk vendors are out there for juice and accessories as i am the kind of guy who loves to order on special delivery lol as i cannot wait for my toys to arrive, whether it be ecigs or smartphone gear.

And i am also looking to buy a new kit but i am unsure of what to buy. I like the kit i have but im not a big fan of the gold trim, i prefer a silver or chrome trim, but heck, just want another kit lol.

Anyways sorry about the long essay and thanks for your time and help in advance.

Well, if it isn't ohms...the cartos were too dry. The only way you can burn cartos is:

A) Too try
B) Over volting and not giving them a chance to wick the juice.

As a general rule of thumb.

You said they were filled, so I assumed too high on the volts. But could be just newbie carto filling issues. Other than that, maybe someone with those cartos and a Riva can comment. Sorry I can't help more.

OK so it's what we call a "3.7 volt device". (The 4.2 is just the fresh charge...it doesn't last long. It averages about 3.6/3.7 volts).

2.0 ohms should be OK on a 3.7 volt device. The thing is that different attomizers/cartos behave differently. Some like cooler vapes better than others that like warmer ones. As a general rule though we calculate watts. It's voltage squared divided by ohms.

So 3.7 x 3.7 / 2.0 = 6.845 watts. Not overly hot. Around 7 +/- is considered by many here to be normal range.

People often have trouble with carto filling. Particularly with thick juices. All-VG juice for example can be hard to get wicked into the carto.

Are you using 100% VG by chance?

Thanks once again...i have posted a link to this thread in that thread. Hopefully someone could correct me or advise me. I know that there is something going on with boge recently, so i may just purchase kanger or smoktech low res cartos. I have heard good things about smoktech but not sure about kanger
