This is the one I have..Solio H1000 Universal Hybrid Charger<br>(Dark Grey)
Had it for 3 years now.. almost tempted to get another since they have gotten cheaper, they used to cost $79 With other tips you can charge a PSP or Nintendo DS also

The solio looks okay for camping, though it appears I have to wait for it to charge first, then I can charge the ecig or use my passthru.

Are there any units that don't have to be charged themselves? Vape directly from the sun, so to speak :)

Thanks,
Dave

hifistud,

When you say 'kept superminis going' and 'handled 901' - do you mean charged batteries or can you use it with a passthrough or both?

wench,

Same questions - does it run a passthrough? If charging does it take longer to charge?

it outputs at 1000mah, I've ran both a 510 and 801 pt off of it to see if it would work and it does well. It charges it's own internal battery that in turn you can use to charge your equipment or to run something. I haven't tested how long it will run a pt though on it.
If in a hurry you can charge it at home off a usb port for a quick charge if taking it somewhere and then go solar if you need to.
Hope this helps.

It does, Wench, thank you. Under consideration..... 1amp is a fast charge too.
