Hey, Im going to be building a box mod withen the week. Ive learned how to build a dual 18650 unregulated box mod, but im looking to build a quad 18650 or 26650 box mod, for less voltage drop and more battery life. Could someone point me in the direction of a insturctional video to build a quad box mod? and is 18650 or 26650 better in your guys opinions? what are the pros and cons of each. and what supplies will i need to build a quad box mod. I know ill need a mosfet or two, a project box, switch, resistors, master switch, fuse, batteries, sled, wire, etc. could someone post me item specifics like what type of resistors, mosfets, fuses and specifics on everything else. i want to stay as safe as possible.

26650 will give you the life span you need, but for power delivery, 18650 nails it especially if you are going hard with the sub ohms. You simply can't get enough power drawn from the 26650 dual as you can with a quad 18650(which is beastly if you can manage to get a mod that will have it in a decent form factor.

Maybe 26650 in parallel, but 26650 in series is more power than most could ever handle...

The batteries for 26650 are 'LEGIT' 35amp batteries, and in series you can safely push 70amps...

That means at .15ohms, 8.4v you are safely pushing 56amps at 470 watts!

470 watts!!!

Perhaps I stand corrected.
