Does anyone have a build using nano coils on the 454 big block? What I have right now is 4 nano coils with 12 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal in my 454 big block. The build checks in at .3 ohms and they all heat up evenly with no hot legs or shorts. It's vapeable for about 2 or 3 pulls but quickly starts tasting burnt. I think the issue is my wicking. I tried to do a modified dragon nano coil with them. I threaded cotton around the center post between the coils and brought it back out and went outside the coils. Then did a loop around bottom closing off the bottom of the coils. I made sure the coils could breathe leaving the tops open, but I just get a rank taste after a few pulls and vapor production is average. It's not bad, but I was expecting more out of the build. Will the dragon style wicking even work with the 454?
