Thought this may be an appropriate place to post this question.

I pretty much vape thick VG Red tail liquids almost exclusively and having problems with my tanks.
I've tried about 4 or 5 that were tossed out immediately and my latest endeavor is the Smoktech XL DCT tank with dual coil cartos at 1.8 or 2ohm.
SmokTank XL - Blue Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank - New tank design for 510 PV's! 3.5ml 1.5ohm

They leak a fair bit onto to the battery post but they vape nice.

Can someone who vapes this type of juice suggest a good quality tank that doe not leak!
I'm tired of ordering accessories and having them fail on me. Every other item I get is either DOA or simply doesn't perform.

Thanks everyone.

I've been using the mini vivi nova with 2.4 ohm coils with the tobacco road and I like the performance and haven't had any leaking issues.

I have a couple on order. Hope they come in soon.

I"m anxious to try them out.

I'm old fashion...510 LR Attie and a Precision Drip tip given to me by Snork.

I also have been using the stardust setup for a while. It looks silly sometimes when you have to hold it upside down when taking a toot.

second for the vivi nova, especially if you have any interest in rebuilding. the heads take ~5 minutes to redo and a cotton wick nova is an incredible experience
for the record I vape high vg only and the nova handles it well after a brief break in. you will have to crank your wattage down a bit but the thing performs so well it doesnt bother. I'm running the 1.8ohm factory head on a 3.7v riva and its performing as well as my 1.5ohm dct did on my provari at 4v

Thanks everyone. This really doesn't belong here but it gets frustrating when nothing you try works.
Love the Vivas concept but hate the taste so maybe a cotton rebuild is in order.

You might want to ask Almighty God about what he thinks.

AG is a wealth of info and is a NO BS type of guy.

I've been using the eGo 2.4ml CC CE4 Clearomizers with a 1.8ohm short wick and haven't had any leaks. I tried the Vivi nova mini and love it's construction and the fact that it's easy to clean since the bottom cap is removable as well as the top. Maybe a cotton wick improves the flavor but the regular wick that comes with the vivi coil left a bad after taste in my mouth that never went away after vaping the whole tube. I tried boiling the coil but that didn't help. The CE4 Clearomizer coil has never had an aftertaste and that's why I still use it.

Just curious...I never tried the VIVI...would you like to sell it or trade it out for some eliquid? If so just let me know.

I'm curious if other eliquids will do the same.

I use a carto tank for my "main" liquid, but use a couple mini vivi novas for various random juices.

I just tried a couple new-to-me juices with new nova heads which I sourced from a different vendor than my usual. The result was blech. I'm reserving judgement on the liquids though until I can try them in a carto or with known-good vivi heads.

I don't have a high opinion of vivi's, even though I still use them sort of. More often than not they either give an off-taste or mute the flavor of the juice. When one is working well, it is convenient and does provide good flavor and vapor. But they have too many consistency / quality control issues to rely on them.

That's too bad to hear about the Vivi Nova. I have a couple ordered for a incoming houseguest I'm working on, I've heard mixed reviews about them but thought I give them a shot. I have never seen one up close so I don't know what I'm in for. I just know I want to get her clear of carto fuzz if possible, barring that I'll get her set up with a carto tank. Anecdotal reports suggest she may be vaping burning fuzz occasionally. We don't want that.
