Okay, so 7 new flavors in today, and here's my honest initial review. I'll do another on these in about a week as a follow up. Obviously, I'm a fan of Lucky 7 for the great prices, but my reviews of these juices will be unbiased. For testing, I'm using my a Patriot clone with a single 1.8 Ohm micro coil with cotton at 4.5 volts; all of the juices are 18mg and Max VG.
Blackberry: Well, this tastes like TFA Blackberry to me, but with a bit of sweetness. The flavor is good; there's not much to say about this, really...the flavor is good and the vapor is good.
Thumbs Up
Mango: This one tastes okay, but it seems
very weak to me. I like a big, bold mango flavor, and this isn't doing it for me. Perhaps with a couple of flavor shots it would be more satisfying to me. It's not a bad flavor, though.
No Thumbs
Raspberry: The flavor here rather pops...and tastes good. There's a bit of sweetness, but it's by no means overly sweet. Vapor production is what I would expect at Max VG. After trying Blackberry and Raspberry, I'm thinking of suggesting a recipe to Sooner that uses both; I typically prefer more complex flavors, so these single note juices are fun to mix.
Thumbs Up
Berry Blast: Hmmm...this isn't what I expected. My first impression is a bit mixed. There's something about this that I like...hmmm. This is definitely more complex and not a single note juice. I'm going to have to spend some more time with it.
No Thumbs
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: I am not tasting vanilla bean ice cream. I'm not sure what this tastes like, really. It's not bad, but it's not a winner. After the recent talk about this one, I'm not sure what to say. Maybe this is from the second batch?
Thumbs Down
Ecto Cooler: This bottle was kinda jacked up in transit or something. The label has a bunch of places where it bulges out and isn't sticking to the bottle. Speaking of the bottles, and I'll mention this in my final thoughts, I do not mind the hand written bottles whatsoever - I actually kinda like it; however, I would really prefer for the PG/VG ratio to be included on the label rather than having to write it on there myself. Anyway, getting back to the review of this juice: it has the most "artificial" looking hue to it of all of the juices, which actually makes sense since it's Ecto Cooler. It's a kind of bright orange color. The taste reminds me of Mt. Baker Vapor's Ecto Cooler, which uses Flavor West, if I'm not mistaken. Frankly, I like it. The orange comes through, but so does a bit of "ice" or something cool. I'd like a bit more flavor...but not much; I simply prefer things a bit more on the strong side. This one does not have a weak flavor, though. The vapor production, again, is what I'd expect at Max VG. The throat hit is better than the rest, probably because of the "chill" effect going on, which isn't in your face, but, nevertheless, present. I'll definitely order this again.
Thumbs Up
Snickerdoodle: I've had numerous snickerdoodle juices in my vaping history, so I'm saving this one for last. I also bought a bottle of snickerdoodle flavoring from Lucky 7, so if this one is weak, I can always bump it up with extra flavoring myself at the expense of nic strength. Okay, so what do I think about this? It's not the best, but it's not the worst that I've ever had, though to be fair, snickerdoodle typically needs more steeping rather than less, so I can't expect too much from it yet. It doesn't seem weak, though, and the flavor is identifiable as something in the snickerdoodle category, so we'll see.
No Thumbs
Final Thoughts : I'll begin by mentioning the lack of PG/VG ratio being indicated on the label - thumbs down for that. As to the flavors, I need to suspend judgment on Snickerdoodle until it has properly steeped. Vanilla Bean Ice Cream might be a known problem, so I'd like to know which batch this one was. Of the berries, Blackberry and Raspberry are what I'd expect, while Berry Blast wasn't quite what I had expected - not bad, just not what I expected; I'm definitely looking forward to spending more time with Berry Blast and reporting on it next week. Mango...oh, the high hopes that I had for this; I'll spend more time with it, though, since it might just be a case where, for me, I need a LOT more flavoring to make this one a winner. Ecto Cooler - yeah, it brought a smile to my face; I've never had the drink, but I got turned on to Ecto Cooler by Mt. Baker - considering that Lucky 7 has MBV beat on price (by a lot), it's safe to say that Lucky 7 has my business on this one, though I might prefer it with a bit more flavor, too. Ending with Snickerdoodle, I've had some really good one and some really bad ones; without a proper steep, at the very least I can say that this one from Lucky 7 is not offensive (I can be turned off by too much gingerbread). Overall, trying 7 juices this time, what's the tally? 3 Thumbs Up, 3 No Thumbs, and 1 Thumbs Down. That's not bad at all, really, especially for an initial review straight from the mailbox; some of the No Thumbs might change next week, too. What's my favorite so far of the 7? Hmmm...I'm not sure, but I'm wanting to vape some more Ecto Cooler.

What's my least favorite? Well, putting Vanilla Bean Ice Cream aside because of the recent issue with it and putting Snickerdoodle aside for steeping, I'm going to say that Mango was my least favorite - perhaps because I had high hopes for this one. Do I see myself getting any of these in 120ml+ sizes? Yes - especially Ecto Cooler.
Taste being subjective and all, these are simply my first impressions straight from the mail box. I expect some of them to change, so I'll do another review in a week. Okay, it's back to Strawberries & Cream from Lucky 7 in a Kayfun 3.1 clone for me right now!
