Well, it has been a week, so here's my followup review; to start with, I'll include my initial review - minus a bunch of rambling extras...
Blackberry: Well, this tastes like TFA Blackberry to me, but with a bit of sweetness. The flavor is good; there's not much to say about this, really...the flavor is good and the vapor is good. Thumbs Up
Mango: This one tastes okay, but it seems very weak to me. I like a big, bold mango flavor, and this isn't doing it for me. Perhaps with a couple of flavor shots it would be more satisfying to me. It's not a bad flavor, though. No Thumbs
Raspberry: The flavor here rather pops...and tastes good. There's a bit of sweetness, but it's by no means overly sweet. Vapor production is what I would expect at Max VG. After trying Blackberry and Raspberry, I'm thinking of suggesting a recipe to Sooner that uses both; I typically prefer more complex flavors, so these single note juices are fun to mix. Thumbs Up
Berry Blast: Hmmm...this isn't what I expected. My first impression is a bit mixed. There's something about this that I like...hmmm. This is definitely more complex and not a single note juice. I'm going to have to spend some more time with it. No Thumbs
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: I am not tasting vanilla bean ice cream. I'm not sure what this tastes like, really. It's not bad, but it's not a winner. After the recent talk about this one, I'm not sure what to say. Maybe this is from the second batch? Thumbs Down
Ecto Cooler: This bottle was kinda jacked up in transit or something. The label has a bunch of places where it bulges out and isn't sticking to the bottle. Speaking of the bottles, and I'll mention this in my final thoughts, I do not mind the hand written bottles whatsoever - I actually kinda like it; however, I would really prefer for the PG/VG ratio to be included on the label rather than having to write it on there myself. Anyway, getting back to the review of this juice: it has the most "artificial" looking hue to it of all of the juices, which actually makes sense since it's Ecto Cooler. It's a kind of bright orange color. The taste reminds me of Mt. Baker Vapor's Ecto Cooler, which uses Flavor West, if I'm not mistaken. Frankly, I like it. The orange comes through, but so does a bit of "ice" or something cool. I'd like a bit more flavor...but not much; I simply prefer things a bit more on the strong side. This one does not have a weak flavor, though. The vapor production, again, is what I'd expect at Max VG. The throat hit is better than the rest, probably because of the "chill" effect going on, which isn't in your face, but, nevertheless, present. I'll definitely order this again. Thumbs Up
Snickerdoodle: I've had numerous snickerdoodle juices in my vaping history, so I'm saving this one for last. I also bought a bottle of snickerdoodle flavoring from Lucky 7, so if this one is weak, I can always bump it up with extra flavoring myself at the expense of nic strength. Okay, so what do I think about this? It's not the best, but it's not the worst that I've ever had, though to be fair, snickerdoodle typically needs more steeping rather than less, so I can't expect too much from it yet. It doesn't seem weak, though, and the flavor is identifiable as something in the snickerdoodle category, so we'll see. No Thumbs
Blackberry: Okay, this basically has the same flavor as it did a week ago. The only new information, which I might have mentioned somewhere in this thread, is that it doesn't really hold up past a tank; in other words, I can vape a tank straight through, but I can't vape it for days on end.
Thumbs Up
Raspberry: Like Blackberry, Raspberry hasn't really changed after a week, and like Blackberry, I can enjoy a tankful, but not days on end like I can Strawberries & Cream from Lucky 7.
Thumbs Up
Berry Blast: Along similar lines, Berry Blast hasn't really changed after a week, though unlike Blackberry and Raspberry, I'm still holding out for a bit of flavor development. Regardless, I can enjoy a tank, but then I'm good for this flavor for a while. I can see this being in my rotation, though, maybe vaping a tank every other week or so. I definitely think that this juice, having spent more time with it, deserves a bump from no thumbs to...
Thumbs Up
Ecto Cooler: I'm quite tempted to buy 120ml of this at Max VG with a flavor shot. After a week, the flavor is basically the same, and I still find it to be just a bit on the weak side; however, I prefer big, bold flavors, so this really is a matter of personal preference. It's flavorful...but I would enjoy more.
Thumbs Up
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream: Mine was order # #2057, and my initial review was not good. I don't know if I got the wrong juice or what, but I'd just as soon throw it out.
Thumbs Down
Snickerdoodle: A week of steeping might not be enough for this type of flavor, so I'm still going to leave Snickerdoodle with...
No Thumbs
Mango: Okay, I've saved the hardest review for last. The flavor is decent...but not enough. At this point I would not order this again, even with an extra flavor shot. I won't give it a thumbs down, though, because it really isn't bad; I think that it would benefit from more mango flavoring and the addition of some cream. Again, it's not bad at all, but my all time favorite e-juice is a mango flavor that is so far superior to this - in my opinion - that I simply don't have any use for this...even at the crazy good price that it is. I was really hoping for an inexpensive alternative, too...maybe with more mango and with some cream. Somebody else might absolutely love this, though, so I'll leave it with...
No Thumbs
Final Thoughts
In summary, the only "thumbs" change was the bumping up of Berry Blast from no thumbs to thumbs up, which is a good thing, in my opinion. As always, taste truly is subjective, so don't take my word for it. I'll be ordering more sample sizes soon, though, and I look forward to trying some more flavors. Ultimately, I want to find 3 or 4 juices from Lucky 7 that I can be confident about buying in bulk sizes to be all day vapes, and trying juices - liking some and disliking others - is all part of the process. It's too much to ask that every juice is stellar, and it really does take some sampling to find the ones that work for me. I'm a fan of Lucky 7 prices, but I want to be fair about my experience with the flavors. If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me about my experience.
In closing, I want to do a short review of my first order from Lucky 7 - all 120ml sizes:
Orange Cream is decent; I'm glad that I bought it, but it doesn't wow me.
Pomegranate has gotten a wee bit better; it was a gamble getting the 120ml size - it's not bad, but I wouldn't buy 120ml again.
Banana Blast has lost whatever natural banana flavor I picked up at first and is straight up candy now - which I'm fine with; it's nice to have 120ml around.
Strawberries & Cream: of all the juices from Lucky 7 that I've tried, this one has been the best - for me, and I'm getting to the point where I need to be thinking of getting more; 120ml hasn't lasted very long - I vape this stuff every day, so the only questions are whether or not to get the full liter size and whether I want one or two extra flavor shots. I might buy a bottle each with one extra shot and with two, just to help me decide which to get a full liter of. Yeah, to me, it's that good even without flavor shots. If I don't like a single other flavor from Lucky 7, it was worth it all just to find this one at such a great price.
