... Buzz Pro (BP) (not to be confused with the Gulf fiasco) !

Some of ya'll may know that I'm a rabid fan of the eGo batts and eMDCCs. I did try an Old Goat bottom feeder and traded it when I 'discovered' the eMDCCs.

Well, some have hinted that maybe I'm just an ol' stuck-in-da-mud. Hopefully, some of my posts have pretty much po-po'd that erroneously biased misconception. Nonetheless, I have been eying these dag-nabbed new-fangled VVs. looking.gif
When NoCSigs ran their BP sale, what da hell... let's ride dis pony! Well the BP arrived this PM mailbox.gif. The Powerizer Buzz batt charging was a looong wait, although it only took less than two hours. (Ol' farts get impatient, we don't have all that much time left ya know... old.gif)

So, I'm 'bout to load up the batts and couple/mate a few of my fav flavs to the BP (day-um, that sounds down right erotic!) (I did say I'm an ol' fart, right?)

OK, I'll give this NASA VV experience a try... stand by... impatient.gif

OK, while diggin', the BP is putting out 3.29 to 5.6 VDC unloaded. Using a 510 CCV dual coil carto, whoa, Iffy, back off da voltage! (Fanning vapor and near burnt taste, my bad!).

This is gonna take a bit of experimentation to find da sweet spots (yes, spot is plural). I'll keep ya'll posted as to my progress. Thus far, the BP has more capability than I at this point.

My impressions up to now:

Love the solid feel in da hand. No more 'obtrusive' than an eGo, just a larger diameter.
Construction is awesome. Got the 'clear' (non-finished) option with brass caps and am impressed.
The activate switch is superior to any I've tried. Great action and with the 'just right' recess.
The voltage select thumb wheel has just the right tension for a positive adjustment without an accidental change.

This puppy is gonna make me reevaluate some of my PIF/TC flavs!

Later...

one reason I stayed away from the buzz pro was the 15 watt max. Hard to hit my sweet spot on dual coil when it is limited to 4.7v on a 1.5 ohm DCC. It looks like an awesome PV unless you enjoy a dual coil.

fray,

Using the CCV DC (1.6 Ω) carto and a generic 510 atty (2.6 Ω), the red zone is just too much for da juice (and ME). Throttling back into the yellow zone really brought relief and pulled out some extra flavs that where not evident with the eGo at 3.2 VDC or less.

I've been through a half dozen flavs while playing the voltage adjustment and the mid-range (yellow) is really kickin' azz. I now see where >3.7 VDC is the genesis of flav. I'm finding that around 4.2-4.5 VDC is really a sweet spot for most of the flavs I've tested.

Granted, I need to 'tune' in, but with what I have available, there's no way I can handle what the BP can produce at it's upper limit . Obviously, I need to investigate other carto/atty combos if there's a level above what I've experienced thus far. In other words, this puppy will fry any juice I have with the equipment I have available. But the sweet spot is SWEET!

Any insight in da 'adult pool' world would be greatly appreciated. Hey, I 'listen' (re read)... that's how I got to this point!

One thing I've realized, I can't afford to have a BP combo for each of my fav flavs like I do with my eGos...

i generally vape the dual coils at 6v. been vaping unflavored with menthol so it holds up fine. I could see it being too much for a lot of flavors.

The thing that sounds the best to me about the buzz pro is the wheel. I liked the infinity because of the adjustment wheel and hated having to have a screwdriver for the original buzz to change voltage. The battery life of the buzz was waay better than the infinity. I like how they took the best of both devices to make the new buzz.

This dual coil kick I am on at the moment will surely die down, when it does I will be looking in the classifieds for a buzz pro.

Holy dog droppings... 6V? I don't think I could vape air at that voltage?

Ah yes, da wheel... SWEET!

Well, ya won't find my BP on the classies!

Congrats on the buzz pro Iffy.

... juice hog it is.

Thanx!

Hey, that's why I just went into DIY. I really could care less 'bout juice usage if this ol' fart is vaping his azz off. Besides, pork fat RULES!!!

OMG Iffy!!! You got me Rolling Man!!! I am so happy to hear you like the Buzz Pro :D I have the Provari and it really does change the whole experience being able to adjust to whatever tastes right and gives you what you need to stay off the death sticks :D

Hope you're on da carpet! Thanx... the BP seemed to be an excellent '$lot' VV PV. As for staying off 'bakky'... I'll use a slinky, 12 V deep cycle batt and a 55 gallon barrel of Mickey Dee's fries grease before I light up again!

Holy .....! Just 'dropped' some blueberry that was in the 'not ever' box at 4.7 VDC. Can't stop 'testing' it... hold on, let me try this 'un again... yepper, gonna have to test it once more... What? Just leave me alone for a while...

BTW, I also got the NotCigs volt meter. Neat lil' device. I may have to get one that's in-line in the future. And again, the activate switch is the best ever!

You're starting to sound like me after getting a sample of wiz1000's DIY RY4 yesterday. He sent me a 10ml bottle and I've got it about half vaped already. :D

OK, all the blueberry is vaporized! I'll have to do some DIY BB.

Testing another 'not ever' (NE) flav, Milk Chocolate Toffee (PIF sample). Had to drop to 4.17 VDC to keep the taste from getting 'burnt'. Not bad, but not a fav. It is nice to finally get some choc flav! Gonna have to work up sumpin' decadent!

Anyone document or label voltage settings for their various nicquids?
dontknow.gif

Sure do like this new fangled VV device! Catch ya'll later... gotta go diggin' the NE box...

What should I put on the top of this bad boy?

Dunno... I'm spending my BP time with the flavs and voltage settings. I'm gonna look at several top side options in the very near future after some in-depth 'ECF searching'.

Right now I have an ol' 510 debridged atty that's holding up well with all my tinkering. Do need a short extender so I can try my favorite eMDCCs. That was my only 'disappointment', if ya can call it that.

Keep us posted on your BP venture!

Ya'll ever hear of 'target fixation' and/or tunnel vision? Well, guilty...

KeysBum gave me a call this PM and we chatted a bit. Told him 'bout the new BP and he said he had been lookin' at 'em. During our conversation he asked if I had tried the CCV 510 DCCs on it...
doh.gif
. I had been so fixated on dripping on a 510 atty with the 'not ever' flavs that I overlooked the CCV DCCs with my fav flavs.

WHOA...
shock.gif
My 'comfort vape' is FSUSA Vanilla Bourbon 2X using my ol' trusty eGo and an eMDCC. But this CVV and BP combo is a killa at 4.15VDC with the VB!

Thanx to Brad (KB), I've been exposed to another hereto now unknown vaping experience. Thanx KB!

(whisper mode) Pssst... don't let Brad know I said this... but he did pull da trigger on a BP while we were on da phone. Hey, what are friends for...
