So, I have large macaws and a few smaller parrots. I did bird rescue for YEARS, but no longer (which is a good thing). Many products or things in our homes can sicken and kill parrots pretty quickly. For example: powdered carpet deodorizers, overheated non-stick cooking pans, febreeze, air fresheners, bug sprays and powders, perfumes and body sprays, paint fumes etc.

My question is this: Does anyone know if the vapor from vaping is harmful to birds? I have looked on many bird forums and have found nothing helpful. I thought maybe someone here also owned parrots and knew the answer. I know that 2nd hand vape vapor is not supposed to be harmful, but it does have a smell. Does anyone know if that smell is harmful?

Any help would be .... helpful. I know this is such weird question to ask here. I sooo want to vape in my living room, but my birds are there. Therefore, I still have to go outside or into the kitchen and vape under the stove's exhaust hood or in a room far far away from where the people are, which isn't fun.

Thanks so much in advance.
