birds and vapor...harm?

I have a B&G Macaw and hand reared him. I've also smoked like a freight train around him his entire life. He's about 15 years old. But aside from being a violent killer (or at least he tries to present this image until you scratch his head) he's fine. Been huffing on a 510 for about a month and his demeanor has not changed! Some birds are born wit an attitude! Heh, Heh, Heh

i wanted a tarantula once until i read that it's very stressful on them to be handled all the time.

Then get one and don't handle it! (I have a B smithi that I use in classes and shows with kids all the time. She's a sweet heart. What?8-o Why do you raise spiders? For what purpose? Aren't they poisonous?

No, they are venomous. Most of my species are harmless, except for the black widows and a couple of Indian tarantulas I keep. I raise them because they make wonderful pets...and to help populate supplies for the pet trade, so folks don't have to go traipsing around in their natural habitats to get them.
