Question About 501 E-cigarettes

I know about 808s, 510s, 901s.

What is the 501 that I have seen mentioned periodically?

Not positive; but I've taken '501' as a typo for 510.

Yeah it must be a typo.

Actually a "501 kit" is sold locally here in Ky at several smoke shops and gas stations. I borrowed a friends to see what kind of threading it had. It's 510 compatible. Meaning...my 510 attys and cartos work just fine on them.
