Hi everyone,

Newly converted member, been cigarette free for almost 2 days now which is probably the longest I've ever gone in the nearly 15 years I've been smoking :)

I bought an eGo from happyvapper.com, and I was disappointed to learn that their e-liquids were nicotine free - I felt I was doomed for failure without it. So I bought this e-liquid from epuffer.com: http://www.epuffer.com/eshop/e-liquid-sweet-tobacco-flavor-30ml-bottle.html

I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to bases and e-liquids, and I was wondering if this kind of liquid contains vegetable glycerine or propylene glycol? I read that flavors should always be mixed with a base, so I just want to make sure that what I'm vaping is indeed safe?

Thanks for any feedback.

Hello and welcome to ecf.
Only the jucie maker know what mix it is...Both are safe to use....most members like a mix to they can get the best qualities that both offer...vg = more vaper and a little less flavor, pg = more throat hit and a little more flavor.....
Congrats on making the switch to ecigs.

Welcome.... What you've purchased is already pre mixed. When you ordered it you would have selected a nic strength. Most sellers use a pg/vg combo in their juices. They have already added those and the nic as well as the flavouring.... all you have to do is uncap the bottle, fill your cart and vape. Nothing more. If you get into DIY then you will have to dilute flavourings, nic juice with pg or vg. Typically both.

Hope this helps.

That e-liquid is either PG(propylene glycol), VG(vegetable glycerin) or most likely a mixture of both, this particular supplier doesn't specify. However, if you emailed them, they may be able to answer that question for you. As far as safety goes, it's a heck of alot safer than burning tobacco to get your nicotine. I've been vaping PG and VG since last year, and I've experienced nothing but positive effects. I have more energy and I breathe much better. I can actually taste food now, too!.

If it's called "E-Liquid", it's generally for vaping straight out of the bottle(or you can let it steep for a week or two for better flavor). If it's called concentrate, it's just a flavoring that needs to be mixed with PG and/or VG and nicotine. My preference is 70%PG and 30%VG. Flavoring is generally used between 10% to 20% of your mix. This is DIY stuff though and I don't think you'll be getting into that quite yet.

Welcome and happy vaping,
-Clinton
