Ok guys my gear arrived and I am so absolutely pleased.
Haven’t smoked an analog since even though there are about 40 laying in the house.
( Why would you .???? ……… Wink :pWink )
The question I have .
I have a 510 and usb charger, when I put a battery in the charger the green charger light flashers and so dose the 510 led ( about once ) then the charger sits there and the green light flashers about every ten seconds.
Dose this mean its charged or its charging, I have read that it stays green when charged but that wasn’t specifically relating to a 510. I have left a batt on for about 5 hours and still it just flashes about every 10 secs. I am not in a panic about this because I have a usb pass-through as well.
But I would like to look after my batts as well.

Hi Nasa,

On the small usb corded charger, when a battery needs a charge the batt's led flashes and the charger light goes solid red. When the battery is fully charged, it will flash green over the solid red, so in that case the battery is relaying it does not need a charge.

On other chargers, if the battery needs a charge, when you attach it to the charger, the Led on the battery should blink several times and the led on the charger should turn red and then green once charging is completed. Although the Led on these charges is never really totally accurate, it is a fairly good indicator.

What you describe simply is not normal and if it is happening to all of your batteries, it sounds like your charger is not functioning properly. I have never had a charger go bad on me in over a year so it is rare (out of over 20). One think you can do is try cleaning the contacts with alcohol and a q-tip inside the charger (unpluged of course) and also the contact on the battery. Sometimes e-liquid gets in the charger and a proper contact is not made to allow the charger to charge the battery. I make it a point to clean my charger contacts weekly

Hope that helps,

Sun
