Question About Battery Charges

I've got two 510 starter sets on the way and each has two mega batteries. I guess this question really relates to all batteries regardless of make or model though.

I frequently read on the board that X battery has a charge that will hold for about 2-4 hours or Y battery will last 3-5 hours or whatever. Now is this how long the charge holds regardless of use or is it dependent on how much you use your e-cig? If I just take 2 or 3 vapes on my breaks at work, my battery isn't going to be dead by lunch is it?

Batteries do self-discharge, but it takes a long time for that to happen. For day-to-day purposes, no, your 510 batteries will not self-discharge. The usage figures you'll read are just what some people get, vaping periodically through the day. A std. 510 battery would last me about 2 hours. Some people get 4. Some people get close to all-day on an eGo, whereas I don't get all day from an eGoXL.

All depends on how much you use it.

OK, I kinda figured that would be how it worked but wanted to double check. I guess I'll have to see how often I'm vaping and then decide to keep an extra battery or two at work.
