My only experience with bottom feeders are the kangers. I found them to be extremely muted in flavor and the vape to be too cold. I think the problem is from the distance it travels down that narrow chimney. Are there any bottom feeders with a broader chimney? Are there any that give a warmer vape than what I got with the kangers? I've tried mt3/ptii/unitank and did not like them. It's looking like bottom feeders are the trend (read of the 4 local places that sell gear near me, two of them are only selling bottom feeders, and the other two seem to be having a dwindling selection of top feeders and replacement heads), and I'm prepping for what seems will be a lack of availability of top feeder coils.

If I am going to have to deal with a bottom feeder at some point, I'd like to not have to do it at the last minute and frustrated.

I initially had PT2s and loved them when they worked, but was frustrated by the constant leaking and gurgling no matter what I tried so I quit using them. I just bought 2 Kanger Airflow Control Valves ($4.99 each) from avid vapor and now I love the PT2s! Now correct me if I'm wrong, but apparently this valve turns the PT2 into an Aerotank. The airflow seems warmer to me depending on how I adjust the airflow.

That is absolutely correct from what I've observed. I haven't had the PT2 myself, only the Aerotank - and yes, this thing is a major upgrade. That Airflow Control Valve really does make a world of difference on the amount/temperature of your vapor. I guess I'm glad that this is the first bottom-feeder tank I've tried - it killed the idea of top-feeders for me.

Sorry to barge in, but what you are talking about is a Bottom Coil device. A Bottom-Feeder is a liquid feed system like a Reo. When using a bottom coil or top coil clearo/glasso/whatevero the liquid is wicked to the coil, not fed.

My experience with BDC clearos is that the smaller tanks seem to give better flavor. The bigger the tank, the more muted and cool the flavor. Also the bigger the tank the more tendency they have to gurgle and leak when the juice levels get low. has something to do with vacuum and physics stuff that I don't really understand. LOL

So far I have tried:
Aspire Mini Nova: Great flavor and vapor. No muted taste. And they can be run pretty low
Aspire ET: Decent flavor and great vapor. But once run down to 1/3 full they start to gurgle and leak. This then requires removal of the base to clean the excess juice.

I have a Vision Vivi Nova BDC that I haven't had a chance to try yet. But I am sure with the 3.5 capacity the flavor will be as muted as the Aspire ET.
