Hello everyone!

I have a quick question. Say I buy a gallon of nicotine liquid (Base, unflavored) and ship it to a U.S address. I then put it in my trunk and cross the Canadian border...would they

a. Seize the nicotine liquid if found
b. not do anything

I'm only asking because I am unsure of the legal status of importing nicotine into Canadian soil. Can anyone chime in on this? thank you kindly. Wholesale nicotine is insanely expensive if I buy it from Canada...

I read somewhere that some of the nic liquid ecig dealers tend to have every other order held up at the border. While what they are doing is not illegal (import license?) due to loosing tobacco tax revenue I'm sure that 'make it difficult' are the marching orders.

For an individual nic would never be allowed if found.

Well...What if the eliquid is goin to a U.S.A address??... I can just stick in my trunk and hope they don't inspect right?...I'm not ordering it and sending it to a canadian address.

PG is in anti-freeze ... November is a cold month ... some folks tend to carry spare bottles of anti-freeze in their trunks ... one never knows when the first cold wave hits...'nuff said...

I mean people always cross the border with jerry cans of whatever im sure..... but theres always a possibility of them inspecting.

I would be Very Careful about doing anything Flakey at a US/Canadian Border.

I had a little run in with some Canadian Border Patrol Officers once. It wasn't pretty.

Yah...the CBSA are quite strict.... I really don't know how I'll be able to get that nicotine lol.

Just play it cool and stupid. If they ask about cigarettes you have none, which is true. If they catch thee liquid just play dumb. Say I went to the states and got hooked on ecigarettes and I had no clue they weren't allowed.

If you act shift and nervous as you hit the border you are already dead. Just play it cool and tell yourself it's for your best health.

Yeah... They also are complete Devoid of any sense of humor.

BTW - I'm sure they have Never seen anyone try to Smuggle something over the boarder in an Anti-Freeze container.

But you might want to tell someone your plan Before you attempt to do it just in case. That way they can bail you out of Jail and give you a ride to wherever they Impound your car.

In an ideal world, the legal status would actually matter. Practically speaking, however, Canadian customs will do whatever they want. Even if you can prove to them that each dosage/inhalation contains under 4mg, as per regulations, they will just label the whole gallon as a dose and seize it.

I think it's safe to assume that if it's found, you will lose it. Health Canada only allows you to import healthy products... like tobacco cigarettes presumably =P
