A good way to fill a cartridge is to use the condom method (condom is the clear plastic cap that comes on the carto). Fill the condom half full and press your carto onto it. Then do it again. A carto should hold approximately a full condom. Three drops does not seem enough to me. Then place the condom on the carto for your night out and it will stay full without drying out. Once you get the hang of how much juice your carto holds you can just drip that amount of juice without using the condom.

The juice won't evaporate overnight, but it will run out and absorb into whatever it can touch. Keep the little silicone cap on after filling and it will last months and be fresh.

You might want to look at some of the larger capacity Ecigs, like the Ego-T tank cartridge. It holds 1.1ml. The Ego mega cylinder cart holds 2.5ml. Both of these require that you buy the matching atomizer to use the carts.

An Ego or Riva battery is good for a night out, combined with the tank or the mega cylinder atty and respective cart combination. You can easily get 5-6 hours of vaping off one batt and one or two carts. It doesn't hurt to carry a spare cart with these to make sure. It's always nice to have a cigarette lighter adapter for your charger so you can charge and swap batteries just in case, especially if you use lower mah batts.

Thanks guys - That's incredibly helpful.

Main concern is to stay away from the anologues.

The hardest part I've found is that first cigarette. It really sets the tone for the day. Usually the longer you put your first cigarette off, the better you do for the rest of the day.

As far as carts go, it really depends on what kind of cart you are using. I've found that 808's hold more juice than 510s, and rarely leak. Almost every cart will hold more than 3 drops, though. Figure out which model you are using and watch some videos about refilling for your specific cart. V4L has some really good documentation on youtube. Every cart is different though, so it's very important that you find the video that corresponds with your paticular model.

Very confusing - some people talking about carts and some about cartos.

cart = cartridge = the push-on juice/mouthpiece part of a 3-piece ecig: battery+atomizer+cart
carto = cartomizer == the screw-on combined atomizer and cart of a 2-piece ecig: battery+carto

Re carts - 510 carts come with and end-cap - use that to keep the juice in the cart and not dried out. I usually just keep a little bottle of juice in my pocket.

Re staying off analogs - it helped me to buy another battery so I could leave my ecig set up overnight. It is right there waiting for me to grab it when I get up.

And you using 510? Try cartomizers. They make a big difference. They are a slight extra cost but I get 1-2 weeks use out of a Boge soft-cap carto so that $2 cost per carto goes a long way. They hold twice as much as carts and don't need juice as often. No more screwing with a cranky cart right when you really really want some drags. I do recommend manual batteries w/ cartos because if a carto leaks at all it will aim right for where the drag sensor is on an auto battery. For 510 you need standard resistance cartos. For Ego/Riva either standard or low resistance cartos can be used. The Boge soft-caps are easiest - no inner seal.
