question about classifieds?

May sound stupid but couldn't find an answer what does it mean when people write bump on sale items?

It's just a post so their thread will appear at the top, or for people that use the "new posts" button, it will show up on the first page.

They are trying to push the thread back to the top. Everytime there is a new post, that thread goes to the top of the list. People try to keep their items on the first page.

It just means they are bumping it back to the top of the list. The longer it sits without any activity it starts to move further & further down the list of posts. It's a not dumb question. I didn't get it at first either! Lol

Yes they can, but you can only bump your own thread 3 times if i remember correctly, even though it often gets done more then that.
