question about vv/vw

Okay so this may be a stupid question but I've read the manual, searched for an answer, and have had no luck.

So my question is; On my itaste it has two modes, one for vw, and one for vw.. am I right in saying that they are two different modes and work independently and not simultaneously? Like if I was in vv mode and set it to 5 watts then whatever the wv mode is set to doesn't affect it?

Again sorry if this is a stupid question I just have been wondering about this for a couple weeks now.

That is my understanding of how it works. I had a good explanation that I read or heard on YouTube the other day and I can't remember it...

But yes, they should be independent.

And the only stupid question, in my opinion, is the one that goes unasked.

the device will use one or the other, not both simultaneously. not sure if this equation will make it any clearer for you but it helped me: volts*volts/ohms=wattage. wattage is your temperature achieved your voltage is the power supplied to acheive that wattage. so it just gives you 2 means to a end, which would be temperature
