Hey, some of you with more experience than me...which is quite a few of you.:)

I currently have several new full bottles of 18 mg juice. I would like to bump them up to 24 mg.

If I got a bottle of a higher nic in the same flavors, what mg and proportions would I need to add to my 18 mg, to make it 24 mg?

It seems like this could be done, but I cannot get my non-mathematical brain around it.

x ml of 18mg/ml + y ml of z mg/ml = (x+y)ml of 24 mg/ml

If x+y = 10 and z = 36

x ml of 18mg/ml + y ml of 36mg/ml = 10 ml of 24 mg/ml

18x + 36y = 240 and x + y = 10
18x + 18y + 18y = 240
18(x +y) + 18y = 240
180 + 18y = 240
18y = 60

y = approx 3 and x = approx 7

so 7 ml of 18mg/ml + 3 ml of 36mg/ml will give 10 ml of approx 24 mg/ml

Buy yourself some 36mg. For every 2 ml's of the 18 mg, add 1 ml of the 36 mg, and that will give you 24 mg liquid.

18 + 18 + 36 = 72....72 divided by 3 = 24 :) :vapor:

Thank you - You're my hero.

PS I made straight A's in English and got a scholarship for it. But it took me 2 years of trying to barely pass Algebra with a D.:)

Sigh... I miss dimensional analysis. Ever since I graduated college, I try to make math problems harder just to have some fun. Everything can be turned into a differential equation somehow! :p
