I received a 5 pack of replacement coils for my iclear30s when I got it for Christmas. They are indeed genuine innokin products as well. So far 2 of them have been defective right out of the package. I test my coils before using them (especially dual coils) by checking the ohm reading on either my itaste vv v3 or MVP2. So far 2 of these have read 4.2ohm on BOTH of my devices. Being that these coils are not cheap, that kind of sucks. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any issues with these?
I was also wondering how you guys go about cleaning yours. So far what I've done is soak them in vodka over night, then rinse out really well and leave them over a heat vent to dry. I found a method of dry burning them on another forum but am a little hesitant to do that and am wondering if anyone else has had any success with that, or if you have a better method of cleaning? Thanks!

I've kept mine working well for about two months by setting them in an ultrasonic cleaner with 91% alcohol. I let them soak overnight but I also run the ultrasonic periodically during that time. Dry burning them can be troublesome since it's hard to see the coils. I've done it a couple of times but so far the ultrasonic does enough on it's own.

I stopped using mine after finding plastic right next to the coils. It's used to strengthen the connection where the resistance wire meets the NR wire, which is probably where 1 of the coils is broke on your two 4ohm ones.
I was surprised, and thought it was surely just fasttech's heads. Got a genuine innokin one locally and found the same thing.
If I was OK with inhaling toxic chemicals, I'd still be smoking. I have no Idea why these things are so trendy.
