Well from what I remember when the battery is fully charged. The light on the charger turns green. When the battery dies it will blink five times and shut off. So fully charge it and see if the problem happens again. If u are a heavy vaper u should get at least 5 hrs of vape time at least. That was my one gripe with the joyetech egoc twist no battery indicator.
If it turns out u need another I would recommend the Engo V-V2 I think it's a 1200 mah vv and has a batt level indicator.
The only thing I heard which I haven had any issues with mine is the pin on top.
But I love it...
Good luck hope u get it resolved

When my ego c twist 1000 mAh batteries die, they blink more than 5 times... It blinks for 10 to 15 seconds

I'm thinking you're probably using a clone/knockoff version and something might be wrong with the center pin. Where did you buy the battery from? and how much did it cost?

Is the light on the button white? Genuine eGo batteries are from Joyetech. Like others said it may be a short on the coil in the tank that makes the battery stop working. It's built in protection that does this. Sorry I am no help.

I had this same issue with an ego-type battery (this one wasn't a twist though).
Tried different tanks, tried raising the pin (you can use a paperclip to wiggle it up a bit to see if there's a better connection), charging it overnight, nothing worked. Ended up sending it back for a replacement.
Wish I had a more concrete answer than that. Good luck!

Does it say "Upgrade" on the side? It might not if it's generic, but there is a type of battery called an eGo Upgrade that has two different operating modes. They call it variable voltage, but it's not exactly. I'm not going to go into detail about how they work, in case it's not that kind of device, but here are the commands for the upgrade. Give it shot, it might work.

It has two output modes: “Regulated/Constant” and “Unregulated” (Joyetech calls that mode “Battery Voltage.”)

Click 5 times to turn on
If the button is white or blue, you are in the Regulated mode
If the button is orange, you are in the unregulated mode.

To switch modes, click the button 5 times to turn it off. Hold the button down until it turns white/blue or orange, whichever is different from the last mode you were in and it will blink 3x in that color. Click it 5 more time to turn it back on.

ETA: Let us know if it is that sort of device and we can explain it further.
