Question about eGo C type atomizers

Are the C type atomizers exactly the same as the A and B types - just without the housing attached? They look so to me, going by the pics I've seen of them. Can someone who has used them tell me if they draw and taste the same? They seem to imply in the video that it is a huge improvement. Maybe just the lower replacement cost is the huge improvement.

The lower replacement cost is one of the biggest improvements. Other than that, the differences seem to be minor

I think the replacement atty cost is the big improvement, they use type A tanks so far. And some of the reports so far, they leak too

Just received my C type LR atomizer setup today, the C model blows the previous model away in every category, I'm finally enjoying a flavorful vape...very happy so far, I was considering a mod of some sort, not now.
Just a footnote.
I'm using the K-go SLB batteries, they have a slightly higher voltage output, that could be helping in flavor and vapor production as well, a fully charged one lasted 2 days of serious chain vaping.

Is the vape warmer too? I always hated the ice-cold vape from my a and b ego-t's. I went to ce2 clearomizers and never looked back. The vape on those is nice and warm, with loads of flavor. In fact, I still keep xl ce2's and a syringe in my kit, with my ego batts as a back-up plan. From my experience, I was never able to stop and ego-t from leaking, only prevent it for a while. Please update with your experience on the C, though. I'm curious to know if they have worked out some of the kinks.

I'm by no means an expert, but I've never had a leak with the Ego. Ego-wise, started out with the Ego-T. I'm now on the Ego-C. When I pull the tank out, there may be a slight amount of liquid or condensation on the outside of the tank. That's all I've ever experienced. I'm just guessing, but I think some of the initial leaks may have been due to to hard tank caps. From what I've seen, they never pierce well. Plus, as you move them around and re-use them, the hard plastic doesn't make a good seal. I make sure I use the silicone caps, and have never had a leak.

Definetiley not a cold vape, let's say warm-ish.

I've been able to prevent leaking pretty much completely by per-punching the hole in my silicone caps, I use a metal ink pen cartridge that's slightly smaller in diameter than the attie spike, the spike is 3.04mm and the pen cartridge is 2.88mm.

After pulling the pen tip off I thourghly clean the ink out...then I mound a small diameter pointed round file in a vise, you'll want to use the top end of the pen cartridge as your hole punch, the end where the pen tip came out can be a little deformed.

Gently twist the pen cartridge on the file, quickly you'll have a nice sharp hole cutter, I place the caps top down on a 2 paper towel layer, just push down and you'll have a nice clean hole...don't twist to cut the hole.

As you probably already know, the attie spike doesn't puncture the cap cleanly, it kinda rips it, my caps have lasted way longer with this method.

I'm considering taking the sharp edge off the spike point with some minor filing, I believe It'll further prevent any cap tearing.

Hope this is helpful, works great for me, I rarely have leaks.
