So I have 2 ego C tank system. https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egc-str-all.htm

One of the systems is "free flowing" the other system seems to be more restricted lately. I have to draw pretty hard from it. I have cleaned my atty and it looks good. It also seems to go through juice rapidly without leaks.

Any idea's?

Hello Steveo9043, I have the ego-C. I'm still on my first atty insert and cone. I have cleaned the insert once, Ive had this setup for 1 1/2 months now. I do not have this problem, but since the atty is removable from the cone, I would swap atty's and see if the problem follows. If the problem follows, I think your atty air hole is restricted. If it stays, the insert might have debri causing the atty not to seat properly. I've been swapping the between the ego-c bat and my provari, it works flawless on both. If these atty's didn't last this long, I would have had a dead one disassembled to find the air holes for cleaning. Good luck.

One thing I have seen in the short time I've had a "C" is that there is a direct relationship between tough draw and tank liquid going dark as it nears empty.

I've also noticed some flavours tend to build up more. Caramel and chocolate gum up the arty more than menthol, Kool, lemon, cherry and tobacco ( the flavours I have experience with)

Either one of or a combination of gunked up coil or wick. I love the C's because it's so easy to open the atties. Pop off the spike, rinse the coil with water, dry burn. Hold the wick to flame until it goes white again, then make sure it has good placement in the spike (a little bit of wick poking over the spike ensures really good flow). Get the wick saturated with two or three drops of juice, put it back together and they work like new. I know it doesn't sound like cleaning has all that much to do with airflow, but I think these things get so-so airflow in the first place, and you really notice it when you're getting poor vapor when they're dirty. The only obstruction to airflow I've encountered besides flooding from a bad tank was an overused silicone tank cap which swelled over time eventually restricting draws.

I find that if I have ANY wick above the spike, I get burnt taste. Therefore, for me, my wick down just a mm from the rim of the spike.

Also, I've found that some of the attys have the wick (and wire mesh) in there SO tight and therefore creates a hard draw. With those, I gently take the wick out of the spike and roll in with my fingers to get it just a tad smaller and then replace it. Works like a charm for me!

Hmm, maybe I got longer wicks on these, or they just weren't over-packed as they are sometimes. Seems that the wick should not be so far down that it is crumpling and contorting on the coil, nor should it be barely making contact on the coil. That's next to impossible to see when the atty is assembled, but trial and error can always get your wick where it should be ;)
