I like both the 'wrap around the button' tiny metal eGo lanyards and the leather ones too, but am wondering if they make a longer leather one for the longer eGo's like the Twist. Also, I can use the eGo lanyard for my Evod so that's good, but...does anybody know if we can get longer leather lanyards or if they make different sized leather lanyards for the eGo?

Do you think the lanyard at myfreedomsmokes might work? It's on sale:

Hmmmm ... longer/different size leather pouch? Well its a cinch to modify the length on your own, or even to create your *own* style and attach the leather pouch. It's crafty, original, easy, & more practical. The real issue is that darn pouch-thing ... for the life of me, I cannot find any of those that are longer than the ones u see the most often, which are almost always identical. I use a 1300mah Spinner w/Evods. So yeah, the Spinner is a little longer than the twist, not by much. The Evod is where you'll save room ... but even still, the pouches are not simply too long, they're not even close to being long enough to secure it well. There's also the inconvenience of the pouch expanding over time .. even possibly a mere week worth of wear, like mine. Even w/the longest lanyard, if that pouch isn't *snug* & stay that way, I think you're looking at quite a big risk. :2c: The whole reason I opted for the pouch instead of the metal clip was because I didnt think the clip looked secure enough to go through very much wear and tear. It *is* just a thin metal ring, possibly flimsy or not a guaranteed fit for every battery. Not all Egos are the same, which is a good reason for me to be reluctant. That being said, I haven't tried them. But because I dropped my poor little Spinner in the street when it fell out as I was crossing (run over by a semi, hows that for luck?) I have put the lanyard to rest. Like you, I need to find a solution.

I'm considering having one custom made to my batteries specifications. I'm talking abt perfect design w/openings where the buttons are so I dont need to take it out/off when I need to use it. I'm sure we could find someone who creates custom made ones, even if its just made to accommodate specific models & not necessarily *yours*. Heck, I might even start my own business, hahah! Us vapers are rabid shoppers!

I'm gonna hit the vape shop by me and test the metal ring one out just for the heck of it. If you'd like my personal thoughts I can share them w/you. You should keep everyone posted if you come up with something. Good luck to us in our search :)

My answer to the lanyard.
Simple eGo batt w/ EVOD style tank.
Don't like something hanging around my neck and getting tangled in everything I do.

I have both ring and leather lanyards. When I put my 1100mah SmokTech Winder and Evod in the leather lanyard (which I've been using for about a month, so I think it's pretty broken in/stretched), only the Evod pokes out and that setup has never come close to falling out of the lanyard. FT has a few leather lanyards and I think there are small differences in the lengths. SmokTek does carry a larger one for mods, but those might have too much room in them for vv eGo style batteries.
