Question about eGo passthrough

I have an eGo passthrough. I am wondering what will happen when the dreaded time comes when the batt will no longer take a charge. Will it still work if it's plugged into a power source?

If it's anything like my hair clippers that work on the same principle, once the battery exceeds its usable lifespan it will more than likely NOT work. This is because the device is powered by the battery at all times, even when plugged in. The pair of clippers I had...once the battery was completely toast, it would turn on while plugged in, but only for a second or two before going dead.

Eric is right on the money. The EGO PT is powered by the battery. It only lets you charge it while you use it. If you vape it down to the cutoff, then plug it in, it wont work for a few minutes until it builds up a suitable charge.
